Amberlin Georgetown

I visited the Amberlin Georgetown senior apartment, and I've put a deposit and paid for the application fee. I chose them for myself because they allow me to bring two ESA-certified pups with me. They also have a nice fitness center. They're not really spread out as far as what they do, and they've got a lot of activities throughout the month. It's not far from Interstate 35, and it's got grocery stores and outlets that are within five minutes. My son, granddaughter, and grandson also live nearby. I got a ground-floor room where I don't have to worry about when my dogs need to go do their business. It's easy enough not to have to go down an elevator or stairs. Outside, they have a swimming pool, a pickleball court, a dog park, a dog community garden area, an outdoor kitchen, and a bocce ball court. They have a fire table where you can go out and light it and sit around it, they have outdoor seating, an event lawn, cabanas, a bicycle parking, and a porch. They also have two levels for the clubhouse. Inside, they've got the lobby, club lounge, kitchen and dining lounge, mail room, leasing center, fitness center, and discovery room. On the second level, they have the library, the business center, the wellness studio, the game room, the craft room, and the media room. The person who gave the tour has been working with me and given me all the information I needed to be able to move in there. The facility is also very nice, clean, and very well-kept.

We liked Amberlin Georgetown, but the rates were high and the space was less. We didn't find the staff members very patient with senior citizens, too. Their dining area was friendly and welcoming. The units were very nice. I think they were 900 square feet, and the garage was like $100 more a month. They had two pickleball courts and a spa alongside the pool.

Amberlin Georgetown was friendly. It was clean and well-planned out. Everybody was nice. It was a staff member who gave us a tour and she went out of her way, practically, to make sure we saw what we wanted. They had a coffee bar and self-service stuff. It wasn't that expensive but we didn't have to pay extra for two people in the apartment, and I like that. We got to talk a lot more with residents when we went there. Everybody was so welcoming and that made you comfortable right away. It was a very nice place and we almost signed the contract.

I went to Amberlin Georgetown. It is a little bit more modern. They have a pool and a lot of activity areas. They have kitchens and they have options like two-bedrooms, studios, and one-bedrooms. They supply appliances. And I think they provide a washer and dryer. The building is brand new.
