The Acres Assisted Living

My sister moved into The Acres Assisted Living. When I went there, the place was nice. I would refer anyone who needs a family member to be in that assisted living facility. This facility holds up to 16 people, so it's a small facility, which is what we like, instead of a large facility, where the workers take care of their patients. They're very concerned, loving, caring, and understanding. They try to talk to them and make sure they're not by themselves. They still want them to be alert. So, they try to help them as much as they can and show them friendship, love, and care. When I went there, I felt they cared about their patients, which was wonderful. The food looks good, and nobody's complaining about the food. It's healthy food, and they cook homemade food. It's not store-bought food. They take time and prepare meals for the patients there. They said they have breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. And if they want more, they give them what they were saying. It's an open concept when you walk in the door. They have big screen TVs. They have a small table, like a dining room table for you, like a family, like you're in your house. It's a homey place. So, you don't feel like it is a commercial residence for sick people. They feel more relaxed there. They have single rooms and then double rooms if they want to have a roommate there, so it's just nice and comfortable. When I went there, they were bowling with the bowling ball and the pins. I've seen games and activities for them to play with.
