"My mother-in-law was in Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital. I'm glad that they put up with her given her attitude. The layout of the place was good, the staff was good, and the food was delicious. I got to eat lunch with her every day, they had a great cafeteria for families and friends that were visiting. There were two people in a room. They're semi-private, but big enough, and you weren't cramped in there. The facility itself was clean, it was spotless. Almost everybody, including my mother-in-law, had three hours of rehab a day, one was occupational therapy, there was physical therapy, and then speech therapy. The staff was caring and took care of her even when she was being mean to them. They were knowledgeable and nice."

"My mom was sent off to multiple rehabilitation centers including the hospital after brain surgery and multiple problems she couldn't walk talk her hands were swollen balls she couldn't eat drink her favorite drinks she was lonely ... and I believe other locations neglected my mother . I came here and THIS place and THESE workers are amazing 👏 2 lovely women talk and joke with my mom she looks amazing they spoke with me about all the work they've done and time they spent with her they are just simple workers at a nursing home but these amazing bright people including the older man have brought life back in my mom's soul and I thank every one of these workers for what they've done. I appreciate this place and the care put into the patients here this is really a loving place and for you to have only 1 star is saddening not many people see the effort you all put into what you do . So I'll gladly step forward and say what I think needs to be said "

"I have friends who live in Presbyterian Manor Wichita Falls. They have cottages and apartments, and I have been in both. The apartments are in the main building. There are one and two bedrooms. I have a friend that is in a one bedroom, and he loves it very much. He's 99 years old. He likes the fact that he just goes downstairs for meals. It's a very lovely facility. I also have friends in the separate cottages. They're in a quadruplex arrangement, so there are four cottages in a unit. They have a common washing machine and dryer for the four of them. Those are all two bedrooms and just really very, very nice. They are updating the older ones. The newer ones are really nice. They have updated the kitchen and a bath and a half. They do not get their meals. They have to prepare their own meals, but they can go to the main dining room and pay extra for any meals that they would like to have. They are allowed to have a dog or a pet in the cottages, but not in the apartments. I have nothing but good to say about the community. I understand the health care facility that they have is very, very good. They have nurses and a resident doctor, so you can see a physician there. It's just a wonderful facility. The staff are very caring. I have been there for a couple of meals. The people that wait on you are so cordial and happy. They smile, and they make you feel welcome. Anyone that I have been in contact with are very cognizant of the people that live there and visitors. They are just really lovely people. Food is very good. They give each resident a calendar of the month of activities, so that they know what is available to them. They try to have something very often, if not daily. They have bingo very often. A minister comes in. They have bible study, and they have vespers services. It's quite well rounded. The cost here is quite reasonable for what you get. They have small kitchens. You can't do a lot of cooking, but they have a stove and a refrigerator. I don't think they have a microwave. You have to bring your own. You can do some cooking in there. They have a garden area and a patio. People can sit out in the garden area."

"We have nothing but good praise for the people at Advanced Rehabilitation. They do a wonderful job with my mother. They have Bingo, they go to the casino and to the Dollar Store, they paint rocks and pictures, and they do manicures and pedicures; all kinds of things. They serve three meals a day with two snacks. They do a good job with their laundry, but it's too stiff. She's got real sensitive skin, so I just do it at home. The staff is very thorough and helpful. Anytime I go in there, her nurse always comes out and tells me how she's been doing and what they've been doing for her. Her nursing aides are wonderful. I've never seen girls move so fast."

"I moved into Rolling Meadows. I like the privacy. I have a garage. It's just the same as living in an independent house, except that we have more facilities that I can take part in. The main building has a fitness center, a swimming pool, a dining hall, and all of the amenities that come with that. I'm in a two-bedroom apartment, and it's about 1300 square feet. It has been very nice. I have neighbors that I can visit with. Everything is very well planned and managed. I feel very comfortable with it. They have food facilities in the main building. It's a little expensive, but it's manageable."

"My mother-in-law stayed at Rolling Meadows and they were wonderful. The facility is beautiful and they got it set up really nice and they're expanding over time which is good. The staff is very helpful and good. The food was excellent. They did a really good job for my mother-in-law. Her room was excellent, very spacious, and had plenty of room. They played Bingo, dominoes, singing people who played the piano, movies, and the rehab was awesome. They also had hospice there which was awesome, too."

"My father-in-law had been to Texhoma Christian Care Center before for rehab and we've decided he's going to be there permanently now. It's a good Christian facility. They seemed very caring. They have decent food. It's good and my father-in-law enjoyed it. They have bingo and dominoes. They have a full calendar of events. They also do devotionals every morning."

"My sister n law was in the facility for several months before passing. Her room was kept clean the staff I encountered were very helpful and courteous. I didn't see any activities going on. I did see the staff interact with my loved one in a caring and compassionate manner. I would recommend this facility because of the staff."

"I toured Elison Assisted Living of Lake Wellington. What I liked best was the small lake they had outside, and then what I liked least was the layout of the rooms. The staff who gave the tour was fantastic. Anybody working there that we passed in touring was friendly. With regards to cleanliness and structure of the building, it was good and very clean. When I stepped in, I felt very comfortable in there."

"I found the staff at Belmire to be extremely friendly and polite- completely ideal of what you would expect in a small town where everyone seemed to know one another. The amenities were older, but did not seem outdated. It appeared to me that the patients would have everything that they could possibly need so it didn't need to be a brand new place with fancy equipment. There were two things that stood out to me most: the patients there seemed generally happy and the staff did not neglect them. The stereotypical view of nursing homes is that the patients are all miserable and alone, but these patients were happy and had plenty to keep the preoccupied. Also the staff that I have experienced at other nursing homes are very rude, ignore the patients, and only have interaction with them when they make their forced rounds. Some staff members are obviously exceptions, but here every staff member I encountered was cheery and seemed to love their job. They interacted with the patients, they knew them, and they would even be talking to them when it didn't appear they were having to do rounds (instead of playing on Facebook like most of the other people I have seen).
