My father has been in the Victorian Square Assisted Living Community since 2011. His room is very small but it's a very clean place. They have a lot of activities and he says the facility is OK. They do their laundry and housekeeping. They have a beauty shop and a nice exercise room. They also go on outings, do crafts, play bingo, card games, and stuff like that.

This place does have roaches, I saw them while waiting in the lobby (it crawled under the thermostat, got pic) and in the rooms at various times. Many times, no one staffing the desk during visits. When it is you might find a tenant behind it, no a staff member. Recently a tenant fell and laid there for around 4 hours before discovered. Heard the excuse they are understaffed. Buyer beware with this group.

Victorian Square was pretty nice. The staff who toured us around did well showing us everything and telling us everything we need to know. The dining area was nice. They had everything from movie nights to bingo and all kinds of activities. The rooms were adequate. It had a place for a bed and a bathroom, and basic stuff you would need. The layout of the place was just a little awkward.

Call many time to speak with a family member that is resident. Most of the time, front desk never answers. When they do, I leave my information for my father to call. I don't think he gets them. Then when I call back, the process starts again. Really frustrating!!!

Victorian Square was clean, and the staff was nice. They have a variety of different rooms, but I just looked at 1-room and a studio where you could have a roommate there if you wanted to. They have coffee and sodas 24hrs a day in the lounge area. They offer three meals a day, and you could get your meals in your room if you wanted to.
