Windlands South has been a saving grace for my grandmother and several of her friends. Not only is it affordable, the value for what you get is amazing! The sales lady that helped us, Shara, was so kind, so understanding and so supportive of our situation. Since being there, my grandmother has come out of her shell and started being the sweet lady we always knew her to be. The staff is wonderful and I cannot wait to see the renovation once it's completed!!

Well, they advertised an on-site chef but now all the meals are pre-prepared and packaged. They advertise shuttling, but have no Driver and haven’t had for a month. They advertise weekly housekeeping, but they are shortstaffed so that’s not happening. Floors 1 through 3 are currently being treated for bed bugs. Floor 8 has black mold due to old leaking pipes and the 11 floor has mold due to the leaking roof. The grounds continue to have homeless people living there and does not feel safe and these are a few of the reason my friend is moving out.

I enjoy living here and the people. The food could be more southern style other than that everything is fine.

My brother-in-law has moved into Holiday Windlands South. He was looking for something that would give him complete care because he had some medical issues. He needed some professional care, and they're going to provide that when he has his next surgery, so he can have someone who does wound care and that sort of thing. He was also looking for something that was somewhat reasonably priced, so price was an issue for him. My brother-in-law's room is clean, roomy, and well-appointed for an apartment. It has one bedroom, it has plenty of space, and it has a balcony. It's a very pleasant space. He gets three meals a day. He gets wound care and any kind of care if he needs that, and he could pay extra for it. They have a rec facility down below where there are pool tables and ping pong tables, so they have those amenities. It's independent living, and then he can pay extra for additional care as needed. So far the staff members have been great.

Holiday Windlands South was great. I loved the facility. There's a lot of rooms. The people were nice. It's very comfortable. They have a weight room, a gym, a dining room, and a place where you can just sit and relax. The staff was very nice and very polite. It's a great community.

Holiday Windlands South was wonderful. Drew, who was the sales manager, was fantastic, and he was awesome. The building was very clean. The residents seemed happy to be there. It was very nice. The staff like their jobs. You can tell they wanted to be there. The menu looked great. The unit we saw was OK. It wasn't dated, but it was fine. The place was clean, and it didn't smell.

My daughter will be moving to Holiday Windlands South. My first impression of the place is that it was very inviting and very home-like. The rooms were all clean, they had just painted them, so the paint was fresh. The staff members were all very friendly, and even some of the residents made favorable comments as we were walking through. They knew we were looking at it and would say "Oh, I've been here for three years and I just love it." So there was a lot of positive feedback both from the staff and other residents. We had one meal there, the food was really good, it was well-prepared, and the dining situation was good. They came around and kind of served you, and you get your choices of three or four different entrees. They had a huge crafts room where there are all kinds of different crafts, and that's open 24 hours, so you can go anytime and use it. A lot of the residents will get together to play cards or board games that they provide. They have people come in occasionally to do some form of entertainment.

I visited Holiday Windlands South. I thought that the layout of the rooms was good. They were very small, but they were sufficient for my needs. The facility was well done and seemed to be well cared for. The staff was quite nice, very helpful, very courteous, and very informative. They had a room that had a TV screen and some chairs which they used as a theater. There were several card tables and one of them was occupied with some people playing cards. They had some exercise equipment. They had a chapel, a hair salon, and a library.

My tour of Holiday Windlands South was nice. The place was nice, beautiful, and comfortable. The person who took us on the tour was also very nice. Their rooms were very comfortable, the place had a nice approach, and their dining area was beautiful too. I didn't see anything that was out of order.

I moved into Holiday Windlands South 2 weeks ago. The people here are very caring and helpful in every way they can. I have a 1-bedroom apartment, and it's efficient for my needs. The activities are good for somebody independent. They provide 3 meals a day.

I moved into Holiday Windlands South. There have been so many staff shortages that you don't get the services that are advertised, like cleaning or transportation. They just started back with transportation, but it's extremely limited. The cleaning is about every two and a half weeks. The staff members are very friendly. Some days the food is good, and some days it's bad. Things are breaking down, like the elevator. They'll repair it, and then it will break down. A lot of times, we just have one door that opens, and that's hard to get a wheelchair through. The apartment is kind of small. It's got a basic living room, bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen. It's an older building, so there's no open concept or anything like that. Our apartments are very solid, with very little neighbor noise. It's very well constructed. They have arts and crafts, movie nights, card games, bingo, ice cream socials, people come in and sing, and church services.

Holiday Windlands South was a tall apartment building and they did a good job of taking care of it. All the rooms were small. They only had kitchenettes. The people were friendly, very nice, and very knowledgeable. There were a lot of activities. They have a beauty salon, a library, a game room, and several outside areas for entertainment. The dining area was large, clean, and pleasant.

Windlands South was a high rise building. It seemed OK, but there was no real plan that we could tell (in case of an emergency) to get people on the upper levels out of the building. The hallways were not very wide. It was lit, but it was not bright or cheery. They had an older decor. We saw several apartments, activity rooms, and residents playing cards. They were all very friendly. The one staff member I met was very pleasant, very nice, and very helpful.

I toured Windlands South with my wife, and the woman was real nice and helpful. They tried real hard to make us feel at home. They have a pharmacy that caters to the residents (which I thought was a good idea), and they bring everything to you. It's an older building, but the apartments were clean. The ones we looked at that were vacant had new carpet, new paint. It's in a good location, too. It's close to a lot of things and they're not right on the main road, so it would be easy for someone who drives to get in and out.

Windlands South is OK. It's old and it badly needs a facelift. They allow smoking in the building, which I don't like. As far as the meals, they looked pretty good. The rooms were smaller in size. I looked at a two-bedroom apartment and it was small. The staff members I met were excellent. They were very helpful, and they answered all our questions. They have a lot of stuff. They have like cable TV, laundry, and classes.

My in-laws have been in Windlands South for two-and-a-half years now. Their meals and housekeeping are included. They have been very happy there. The general manager is phenomenal. They have kept everybody safe from COVID, so I recommend it very highly. When you eat in the restaurant you get a choice, but during COVID they bring the food up, so they don't have too big of a choice. Things have changed a little bit, but overall they have been happy with the food, and there are a lot of activities, too.

We like Windlands South in Nashville. We just visited a 1-bedroom unit, and we liked what we saw. It was a very nice room. Everything about it was good. The gentleman that showed us the room was very professional, very pleasant and explained everything. I didn't really see much. They were trying to leave things out with Covid, but we were only interested in the location and how nice the facility was. I can't speak about the meals or the activities, but I can say that it was very clean, everybody was nice, and the receptionist was good.

Windlands South was not very updated. The apartments were fine, but the vestibule on each floor was old. The staff was very nice, very gracious, and informative. I was just disappointed in the furniture. The dining area was nice, and there were a lot of people there when I came. They had an overflow room on the other side of the dining room. The lobby area was nice, but the furniture was so dated and needed an upgrade. They had a craft room.

Windlands South is a lovely place. I got good feedback from the residents that I talked to. The staff was very helpful. It is probably a little expensive for me, but it is a lovely place. The grounds are very nice. The location is fine. It is easy to get to and convenient. Based on other places that I have seen, the rooms are pretty much standard for that sort of living. They seemed to be well kept, clean, fresh, and nicely cared for.

I had a very good visit to Windlands South, and I was very impressed. I liked the quality of the person who greeted me and showed me the facility and knew the people by name. I liked the cleanliness of the place. I didn't see anything bad. I saw a one-bedroom that was very well arranged with a kitchen, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, bathroom, storage room, and balcony. They had a very nice area for playing cards, games, exercise, and other general activities. They had good parking areas and good transportation. They had a beautiful, private dining room for eight people that you could reserve, and it was lovely.

The person I met at Windlands South was very courteous, very helpful, explained everything, showed me the apartments, and took me to dinner where I got to eat with everybody. It was very nice, and the food was good. The staff was very friendly. They had an exercise room and a small laundry area. The apartment was more like an efficiency room. The place was done very well, and the manager was there all the time.

Windlands South's rooms were very nice and clean. The dining area was very nice, and it seemed like a restaurant-type. The people were very pleasant, helpful, and informative. The place was a little dated, but it was very clean, well-organized, and well-kept. There seemed to be a lot of cars, but I didn't have trouble finding a parking spot. I just thought it was very nice, and it would have been a great option for my mom.

The apartments at Windlands South were of a nice size, but the furnishings were from an older era. It was all old maple, which is a beautiful wood, and it probably attracts the older people because they feel more comfortable with it. The staff was very pleasant and very upbeat.

The rooms at Windlands South were very nice, clean, and well kept. The layout was good. The people seemed very happy, and upbeat. The staff was wonderful, and very hospitable. They sent us a note offering to have us for lunch, but we weren’t there at lunch time. They got us some water to drink, and candy. It was a very likable place. They seemed to have a lot going on. They had a movie that was coming at that point. There was a little crafts room where somebody was working on activities. They had a donut social that morning for people to get together. It looked very active.

I liked Windlands South. I thought it was very good for the price range. It was nice. I liked that the managing staff lived on site -- that was comforting -- and the fact that it was very clean. Everybody was extremely friendly. I felt really good. I got a complete explanation, and the manager there showed me all the amenities there. Everything was there. He wasn't rushing, and I just felt very good about it.

My brother put father in Windlands South. He was there for about a month, and I went there and got him by December and brought him home because he wasn’t doing well. They told me it was assisted living, but it wasn’t; it just wasn’t for him. The staff was great; I didn’t have any problems with them. It was a clean, high rise facility. Everything is right there - Walmart, Walgreens, and a hospital four blocks from it. They have a bus service too. It was all good; they did their job, but he just couldn’t live there by himself, so right now I’ve got him at home.

We enjoyed Windlands South and everything. We did eat there and their food was excellent. Their apartments looked good. They have all sizes available. They have one-bedrooms, two-bedrooms and studio apartments. We just chose not to go to a high-rise. They only have a high-rise. The staff was very nice and very accommodating. They checked back with us and everything. I think it is an excellent facility. The residents looked happy there.

Windlands South is the best option for us because of location, but we couldn’t afford it. It was clean, bright, and the environment was very positive. I liked the dining room and that they would be able to fix my mother’s meals. They have Bingo and a common area for movies, as well as a beauty salon. The staff answered all my questions. We ate there for dinner, and it was OK and ideal for an older person’s diet. It was soft, and my mother needs a softer diet.

I took a tour at Windlands South, and they were very nice. I was very pleased with the staff named Brandon. He was very helpful and knowledgeable about Windlands South. They showed me with the arts and crafts. I met the lady in charge of the arts and crafts, and I was impressed with her. She told me of the different things that they had going on. I also met the manager and the people in charg of the facility. They explained to me their fire protection program. They told me that if there was a fire, they would come and instruct me to go to my balcony, and the fire department would come to the balcony. That was impressive. However, I didn't like their location.

I’ve been living in Windlands South since May last year. They advertised three chef prepared meals a day, housekeeping once a week and other things. When I got over here, the food was inedible, and it was just not stacked up like they say it was going to be. I liked my apartment, but I've had soot going out of my heater and air conditioning for a month now, and I begged them to do something about it because I have allergies. It’s still the same, and I have to put a towel out to catch the soot that comes out and keep it from ruining my bed covers. It’s so discouraging. The food is better now because they fired the chef. The staff working in the kitchen and all that is just sweet and wonderful. The average age here is 80 and I’m 62. Everybody said I don’t belong here. I don’t fit in. They don’t care about the people paying them money.

My friends are very pleased with this facility. They get 3 chef-prepared meals a day. They have a bus that takes them to doctor appointments or the drugstore. They're close enough to a church and a grocery store. Everything's fine. We've not had any problems. The facility's cost and location were perfect. The staff is friendly and does a good job. My friends have a bedroom, a kitchen and a bathroom. That's a lot of room for them so they were even able to bring in their own furniture.
