Diversicare was very clean and the staff was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive to my dad's needs. He had been in a few facilities and this was definitely his favorite. Even though there was little expectation of him recovering, they provided therapy that met his needs and allowed him to gain some independence. There is no other staff I would want caring for my loved ones.

Diversicare was very clean and the staff was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive to my dad's needs. He had been in a few facilities and this was definitely his favorite. Diversicare of Martin is a newer community, so they have newer staff and newer things. They did some remodelling so they have newer carpets, and they painted so it was nice and clean. The staff was very respectful to the patients, very caring, and very professional. And the dining area was neat, clean and well-maintained. Their rooms were also neat, clean, and well-maintained, and they do a weekly check of the rooms twice. They would go to the rooms and look for belongings from other patients, since sometimes other patients would bring things to their rooms. They're also very friendly to the patients and very sweet, and I saw that the residents were very responsive to them. There was an activities director. They had weekly church meetings, people would come in to sing for them, and things like that.
