"Christian Care Center of Medina is the best one I have been in because I've been in three of them. Everything was wonderful except the food they cook, it wasn't good. I stayed there for two months for rehab. The rooms were nice. If you needed a private room, you would pay more, but they have two beds mostly and that's what everybody gets. They just opened up in May this year, so it's nice and clean. The nurses and staff are awesome, they take care of me. You get 3 meals a day, they bring it to your room, and they pick up the tray. Overall, it's a good home. They have a therapy room, where you can exercise, and they try to keep you going and doing something. They've got three girls that work in there and they know what they're doing. As for the cost, my insurance paid for it. I just couldn't say enough about them because they're that loyal in taking care of me. Even if the people don't come around, the staff keeps up with them. They wash their clothes and try to keep them busy mentally, and that's a lot right there. I had one girl there that I wish I could've brought home with me, we were that close as far as talking, joking, and stuff like that. They have church services and games that they play. They have a woman that tries to keep them happy, she brings magazines and books if you want some of them."

"Poplar Estates was very nice. I don't have anything bad to say about it. We visited this place for my mother-in-law. The facility was clean. Their rooms were very nice. Their staff was excellent. You can see the way that they are really taking care of all of their patients. The staff that entertained me during my visit was fine. They were very accommodating. Overall, it was very nice but we could not afford it. "

"Magnolia is great! Ghe care is wonderful, medical staff is alert to each resident’s needs. Its location close the MCRH hospital is thd best. The food is the best of many nursing homes ive visited, even the ultra high end brick and stucco places. I vould not have chose better!"

"The atmophere is very nice, homey, and professional at The Bridge At Columbia. My mother doesn’t participate in very much, just bingo once. I know they had a 100th birthday party just the other day, so they definitely do activities. The food is excellent. The facility is very nice, too. They will drive my mother with their transport vehicle to her appointments, and when they’re all done, the office calls them to take her back on the bus. If there's an emergency, they do whatever they need to do, like call 911, on the spot. They’re really good about what I’ve seen them doing so far. "

"This facility was excellent. Walking down the halls I encountered satisfied or happy appearing residents, and pleasant, friendly staff. The halls were very clean and the rooms that I glanced into were also clean and well organized. While I was there breakfast was being served and the meals smelled wonderful and looked great. In the halls were huge glass bird houses filled with colorful birds and there were many windows to look out of, though I must say the view wasn't breathtaking. I also liked the fact that the facility is very close to the hospital/ER and many outpatient facilities. The only real complaint that I had was that the resident's rooms were not particularly spacious (remember a dorm room?) and residents were generally two per room. "

"While visiting NHC of Columbia I noticed significant change from the last time I had visited. The facility was much cleaner, receptionist at the front desk quick to ask if I needed assisting. She directed me to know where I was headed quick and easy direction. When I arrived in the patients room I was there to visit the rooms windows were open room was bright as requested by the family. Room was clean smelled pleasant; a staff member was feeding patient. Staff has put her at highest comfort level possible. With NHC caring for patient she seems at rest and taken care of. The home has weekly events, availability for a hair cut monthly. The quality of NHC of Columbia is well maintained, with a beautiful rose garden located behind the building to stroll resident through on the days appropriate. All in all I would highly recommend NHC of Columbia a place for a loved one to be. "

"Too Many sandwiches are served to the residents. For Sunday lunch on March 16, 2014 a hot dog was served!! Hot dogs are inappropriate for a Sunday lunch PLUS hot dogs are choking hazards for the elderly. "

"We like The Reserve at Spring Hill and my mother-in-law is living there now. It's a very nice community and she's very happy. I haven't tasted the food but she's very pleased with it. Their staff is very nice and very helpful. They've answered all our calls and taken care of just about everything we have requested. The reason we picked this place, was because when I visited the residents were playing cards in the dining room and they were whooping it up like you wouldn't believe. They were having so much fun, and that's what I wanted for my mother-in-law. She's been meeting a lot of people there and it's been very good for her. She raves about the food and she's really happy about it. I think it's a good value for my money."

"I visited this assisted living facility and was pleasantly surprised at how lovely it was. The residents I met were happy and were having a good time socializing. The common areas were clean and nicely decorated. They have a vegetable garden in the Spring and the residents help shell peas and snap beans. Then the cook prepared the vegetables for their lunch or supper that day. They have an exercise room with treadmills and other equipment suitable for the residents. It is not a large facility and the staff is kind and caring with the residents. Ivy Crest has a fish tank, birds, and dogs for everyone to enjoy. A hair dresser comes weekly to cut hair, give perms, and do wash and sets. The facility provides transportation to doctor appointments if needed. I would recommend this facility for anyone that is able to take care of their personal needs but wants the security of nursing staff and caregivers. "

"We are moving my mother-in-law to Morning Pointe of Spring Hill tomorrow. She will be moving into their Alzheimer's care unit called The Lantern. The tour we had there was excellent, and I was very impressed with the staff. I think it's going to be great for her. During the tour, we had some of their muffins; they were great. I like their rooms. They were good-sized rooms. The price was quite reasonable for what we needed too. They have this hallway called Main Street that is set up as a small town with little shops and stuff in it. They're not really selling stuff, but it's to give people a home atmosphere. I think that's going to be fun."

"My father was a resident at MPHR while getting therapy. He was very well cared for and taken care of. He was happy and the family was happy. MPHR a nice family place to be."
