"Holiday Indigo Pines was fantastic. I would use it if it was me, I would go into the facility in a heartbeat. It was clean, it was well-kept, and the staff was very friendly. They were very nice and generous and showed me anything and everything that I needed to see. I like that it's all self-contained. They showed me the day rooms, the arts and crafts area, they had a pool table there for the people, and a cafeteria or dining room area. It was well thought out, and any oldsters will find it reassuring to be there. I saw both their 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom. Anything from the ground floor to the second or third floor was way more than adequate for senior living, and they're worthwhile. The price is the downside for an average Joe person, but they're providing everything."

"It was a much older facility. Everything was clean and maintained. I think it could be an advantage that it was a smaller community. They only had around 30 residents. I did see the menu, and it was a healthy and balanced menu. Their calendar of activities was pretty full and on the incremented schedule. Even though they were a smaller facility, they were engaged. They had Ice Cream Mondays, Wine Down Wednesdays, and they had happy hours. They had a salon area and an area for physical therapy."

"My dad is currently in Summer Breeze Senior Living, and I would give them a very high recommendation. The staff is excellent. The facility is very clean. Their activities are phenomenal, and the food is good. It's just a wonderful place. I'm very happy with it. Several times a week, they have live music. They do bingo. This week, they're doing a casino day where they play different card games. They take field trips on the bus as they went to Tybee and Saint Simons. They have multiple things going on several times a week. The rooms have very efficient space. There's ample room. They all have a nice amount of natural light."

"As much as I liked Oaks at Pooler, it was at the high end of our price range. It was very clean. The studio was a nice size for my brother-in-law, and it's in a good location. It's only like 40 minutes for us to get there, and only about 35 to 40 minutes for him to get to the nearest VA Hospital. Location was important. The building looked very nice. They had a dining room and you could have a private family affair there. The staff was very friendly and greeted us."

"The staff at River's Edge were very nice. They invited us to lunch and we had a wonderful meal. They showed us the whole facility. I would definitely recommend this facility. The whole facility is excellent. The rooms are very nice, friendly, sunny, and clean. It was very clean. I fell in love with this place right away. "

"Harmony at Savannah was absolutely beautiful. If I was going to be moving within the next year, that's probably what I would have chosen. The rooms were nice. The people were nice. I got a good feeling about it when I visited it. They had the exercise rooms. It was a nice and newer facility. It was back in an area of Savannah that was nice. There was a lot of good things about it. I looked at the menu. I saw the dining area, and it looked pretty decent. Everybody I met was wonderful. They were extremely nice, friendly, and helpful. They offered pretty much anything. They had daily functions, card games, and outings, like shopping trips. The rooms seemed a little bit bigger than some of the others and laid out better."

"My mom will be moving into Legacy at Savannah Quarters. It's closest to our home, and we liked it. Everyone there is very helpful. The facility is clean, new, up-to-date, very peaceful, and nicely decorated. They have a semi-private room that's more affordable for us. The staff that I met was wonderful. The sales and marketing person was great."

"We have three golf courses at Sun City Hilton Head, tennis, our own library, and a hall that shows movies. It's quite a nice place. We have our own houses that are pretty well built for retirees because it's a 55+ community. It's laid out very well and runs like a small city. "

"My husband has been at Sprenger Health Care Bluffton for 2 weeks now. It is a nice and clean place in a nice location. The health staff is a little stressed because there aren't enough of them, but the nurses are great. The coordinator is really good. The food isn't too bad. They're very diligent about the food. They're very interested in their residents' tolerability of certain foods and their diet in general. The doctors are good. If you have an issue, they will call the doctor, and the doctor always calls back. Overall, it's a good place. They're all private rooms, at least for the rehabilitation part. They have their own private bathroom. They have a refrigerator, and there's plenty of drawer space and closet space. They just had a trio recently playing music there. They do bingo, church services, watermelon socials, and ice pop socials. Everybody is welcome to participate, even the family members. They have common areas like a little chapel, a courtyard, and a beautiful dining area."

"My husband is in NHC HealthCare Bluffton. He's been there for almost two months now. We're very happy where he is. We chose them because they had an open bed and it's less than a mile from us. We visited other family members there before and it's just perfect. It's amazing. It's almost like a hotel room. Everything's excellent. The food looks decadent, better than what I fixed at home. He's very happy with the amenities. With a broken hip and a broken femur, he's limited in activities but he's doing very well. The PT brought him home and they work with him and he's doing very well. He's there for rehab."

"I was able to visit, and overall it was a good place. Their staff seemed nice and knowledgable. Their food was good. You sit down in their dining room, and they bring you what is on the menu. Their value seemed good for the area. "

"I visited my friend at Bloom at Belfair. The place is beautiful and really clean. She invited me to have lunch with her and it was delicious. I had a lot of choices to choose from. She told me she loves bingo and going on trips. We both believe she made the right decision to make Bloom at Belfair her new home."
