My mother-in-law will be moving into Wesley Village. I've been there a couple of times with her and they're wonderful. It's clean, and the nurses are exceptionally polite and they're very attentive. The rooms were good and plenty big enough. I know they have birthday parties and they play different things. The dining area is very nice. I know everybody that's been there likes it. They have quite a selection of food. Everybody is very helpful. Right now, I went into rehab but they are moving her over to the nursing care.

My mom is at Wesley Village and our overall experience has been good. The service is good. There could be some improvements made, but it is good. She's happy with the food. The facility is kept clean. They maintain it well. Some areas could use some renovations, but it's in nice shape. The activities are good. There are usually plenty of things for her to do throughout the day.

Wesley Village was excellent. They have all levels of care. They were very friendly and open and very, very clean and well taken care of, both inside and outside. They had knowledge of what it's going to take as a person transitions through the different levels. It was comforting to know that they were already aware of all of it, they had all the different levels, and they would be able to facilitate that. Everyone was very open, very friendly, and very caring, and as you went through, you could see how they cared about the residents who were there. The dining area was very clean. Everything was immaculate, spotless, and well cared for. The residents were together and some were sitting at the table, but we didn't really get into it that much. They have a library, books, and things for people to read. It's my first choice. They provide an immediate response to your needs.

I would like to start by saying I'm very happy with the care my mom is receiving. The nurses ,cna's and activity staff are all so kind and caring ❤ They are doing a great job in this not so easy situation. The problem I have is the not being able to visit with my mom. This pandemic can go on for another year or two and it is not right that we are being kept from them. I've been visiting my mom thru a 2nd floor window for over a year. 😥 I completely understand the need to keep everyone safe and im willing to follow the rules to a point. I asked if my mom can come outside on the porch and I would keep 6 ft away with a mask and was told no. It feels like she is in prison. These residents need to see their families. Their mental health has gone downhill and I cant believe the risk outways the benefit. I understand there trying to do the best they can but they need to come up with a different plan. This is not working. Btw. I am completely vaccinated and my mom has a private room. There should be no reason why I can't see her. I would guess im not the only one concerned Thankyou

This facility lacks leadership. I want to believe that many of the staff care about the residents. However, they clearly lack appropriate direction and training. The health and welfare of the residents is at risk. They did not provide medicine at the appropriate times and following doctor directions. They did not provide dr prescribed diet to deal with health issues. The neglected my mom to a point where she now has additional health issues. There were just so many problems and we had to move her to a new facility. We found out we were not alone and will be pursuing this though county and state agencies..

They should not even receive one star. Partridge Tippet Facility jeopardizes the health and safety of its residents. They do not have consistent protocols. We have been allowed in semi private rooms to visit on somedays and other days we are not permitted. Meds are not distributed per instructions. We found our mother sitting in feces on two occasions in the recent 5 days. She has a bedsore from not moving enough. They have not elevated her legs routinely. As a result, we have moved her to a new facility.

My father was admitted for rehabilitation. The only rehab they do is walking, he still caned't do steps, can't get out of bed which makes him a fall risk. He has to self cath 2 times a day but the nursing staff doesn't want to do it so now he has a foley. No one helps with insurance or any type of information that is needed for your loved one to survive.

I went to Wesley Village. It looked like a nice place, looked very expensive, and they want to know a lot about you. They had activities. I only met one person, and that was the person in charge of admissions. I did not like the attitude of the admissions person telling me to fill out forms with very personal information and I don't think that's right.

Staff is very caring and well trained. The place is well kept and very clean. Activities involving live music is provided and is well received by residents. Additionally, the admissions team is very professional and well prepared upon initial arrival at the home.

I'm moving into Brooks Estates at Wesley Village. They have little cottages and homes and I bought one of those. They plant grass and trees, and the outside is very well maintained. The cottage has an open floor plan. The way they had it arranged is very spacious, and I have a lot of closet space. I have a one and a half car garage, and it has a large storage room. I have a washer and dryer, stove, dishwasher, and refrigerator. All you pay for is cable and your telephone, and everything else is provided. I know quite a few people who lived here and they were very satisfied with the place. The staff is wonderful and very accommodating. I have my own kitchen, but I could go over and eat in their dining room. I've eaten there twice, and it was good both times. It's a clean facility, they're very compassionate, and very good with their people.

Rooms are ok Volunteers are very nice Sam - the nurse is exceptional My father has been in the rehab facility trying to get better to transition home. We notified the staff on numerous occasions that the button to call an aide or nurse is broken. It has now been 5 days and he has had to sit in urine and/or feces for hours. Furthermore, when they do assist him by taking him to the toilet (he cannot get there himself) they leave him for extended periods of time - more than a half hour. IF your loved ones is special to you - run and don't send them to Wesley Village.

United Methodist Homes Wesley Village Campus was very nice and the admission coordinator was very pleasant. The facilities were clean and nice, and the campus was very pretty, so I was pleased with it. They had a restaurant and a little café where you could purchase meals. They had a sitting area on each floor and a rolling cart library.

We couldn't get into Wesley Village. The rooms need updating, but they cleaned the carpet before letting a new occupant in. However, the room seemed very nice, and the staff was nice. They don't let the residents stay in their room, they let them come out, and take part in activities, which is good.

0n June 5,2017 I visited my mother at 11:30 only to find that she still had her breakfast tray untouched. I told a nurse and was told it is the nurse aid who should have helped to feed her, I took a picture of the tray and the nurse said to show Bernie. Bernie sais he was sorry..They took her to the lounge for lunch and I feed her, She ate everything . Also at 1;05 I notified a nurse that she need to go to the bathroom, It took until 1:40 for someone to change her. Again Bernie said he was sorry . Bernie also said he would tell Mark.

I am/was a resident of this facility

My Wife and I have lived in a 1 bedroom apartment---independent---for past 4 weeks. We are both in our 80's and I am the 24/7 caregiver for my Wife who was diagnosed with Alzheimers Disease about 3 1/2 hears ago. Due to our ages, we decided to move closer to one of our married daughters who lived in Reading, Pa---about 2 hours away. We toured other facilities closer to Reading but all were well beyond our monthly income. Others wanted rents in the $3500-4200 a month range with food. Wesley Village charges us $1190.00 a month plus meals and and shuttles. Activities are limited to Bingo---light exercise---Church under same roof, twice weekly---home-made and and choir. You have the choice of Café(much lower oost alternative) or more costly formal sit-down dining room---all out of your own budget. I have spent as little as $3.20 for turkey and mashed potatoes and split same with my Wiufe---due to our limited appetites. Place is kept spotless and staff is friendly. This is a continued care facility which means either one of us could move to the assisted living or Alzheimer's units--all under the same roof. We paid NO advanced fee for this advantage but daily charges will increase when that need arises. Our rent includes all utilities---cable tvs--garbage removal---and Wi-Fi. Unit has own bath-room and small kitchen. You do your own cleaning or pay a modest fee. Maintenance department installed our wall hangings and there are elevators.

Wesley Village is very nice. It is like a 3-tier because they have assisted living apartments, assisted living, and then completely skilled nursing, but it is very expensive. The rooms would be doubles or you could have a private depending on your income level or what you are willing to pay for. You can have extra care; it is a la-carte basically there. They have a lot of activities coming in for the seniors like children’s group, choirs, art classes, and field trips. They have an array of activities depending on what your situation is.

Wesley Village was very clean. The staff was very friendly, and everyone that we have met seemed to be very caring. We were looking for a place for my cousin in the assisted living section. It didn’t have a kitchenette, but it was a spacious room. They had a lot going on every day with a good selection of activities. This was where she wanted to go. Out of the places that we looked into, it seems to be the nicest. They had beautiful grounds and a really nice view of the mountains; you get to see the sunset over the mountains.

Wesley Village seemed a very nice and clean facility. The staff seemed very confident and they have enough staff for the numbers of patients. We had talked to them and we were just waiting for an availability for my mother. She will have a shared-room once she is accepted there.

We toured the place and we're very much interested in the suite but it's not available. So I tried to convince my dad to take one available room but he was not interested in staying in such a small place. On the other hand, the staff in Wesley Village treated us very well and we are very impressed with it.

I am a friend or relative of a resident

My grandparents were residents at Wesley before they passed(which was fairly recent), they stayed at the independent living area and then were moved to the nursing areas when their health declined, so I spent a fair amount of time in each area. The building is older, not in a run down sense but it feels like walking into your grandparents home. The staff are all very pleasant, and they did an excellent job of contacting us(via phone as we live outside of PA) when issues arose concerning urgent care situations. They were also very thorough on letting us know of my grandparents' status whenever we visited, if they had eaten or were having problems getting them to eat full meals, the physical therapy for the day, conversations they had with them, all little things that gave you the impression that the staff really did put a lot of genuine care into their work. Although the Wesley Village isn't the newest, or the wealthiest of assisted care homes, we couldn't have asked for better care from the staff. They were very accommodating and we always felt that my grandparents were in excellent care.

I am a friend or relative of a resident

My grandfather is currently a resident at Wesley Village. Although, I have been to the facility numerous times before my grandfather began staying there. The facility is a very nice place for the elderly. There are small private homes, an apartment building, and a nursing home on the property. It is a very clean facility and the residents seem to be happy living there. Sometimes in the nursing home, the nurses can be short with you but I imagine sometimes the job can be very hard. My grandfather is a resident in the nursing home section and he has been enjoying himself there. He enjoys activities with other residents when he is feeling well and he is able to visit his friends when able. The medical care provided to him is exceptional! The apartments are attached to the nursing home building. It looks like the average elderly apartment buildings. You can see that the building is well taken care of though. The smaller private apartment/houses are just across the parking lot from the nursing home/apartments. They are smaller homes but give the atmosphere of still living in a larger house with a yard and all. Residents are free to come and go as they please and are able to drive their own vehicles. Overall, I think the Wesley Village is a very nice property for elderly people. It is a very clean and safe place. The property is also very close to grocery stores, pharmacies, and places like Wal-Mart for the residents who are able to travel. I honestly cannot say anything negative in regards to Wesley Village.
