I visited Laurel Pines this last week to consider admitting my father, whom I brought with me and is a Marine veteran of 8 years. This was not an easy thing for me to do considering how independent he has been throughout his life. We had an encounter with a young man who worked there, with a good deal of facial hair and a blue smock. As I wheeled my father up to the door we bumped into him and began to have a talk about the facility and what it has to offer, as my father has suffered from a stroke this last year he can't speak well and tried his best to join in the conversation the best he could. This seemed to be quite funny to the young man and after a heated exchange we left very quickly. I can't begin to express my disgust and concern that all of Laurel Pines employees are like the man we encountered. Sincearly Peter B
