"My visit at Rappahannock Westminster Canterbury was a pleasent and peaceful one. The Care that the staff gives to each and everyone one of their guests is unbelieveable. The time that the nurses take with all of their patients is also mind blowing. I am most defiantly considering Rappahannock Westminster Canterbury as an option with both my mother and my father. I am so happy that I got to visit and enjoy a family like enviroment. It is so nice to see such a happy and friendly place. Rappahannock Westminster-Canterbury provides several different levels of care to best match any individual's specific needs. So as health needs change, residents are able to move from one level of care to another. The aim of all care programs and plans is to increase one's abilities to reach and maintain maximum independence. "I would not recommend Riverside Convalescent center, it’s not very clean, and the odor was horrible. They don’t keep the patients clean. The left side of the hall was horrible, and the odor was sickening; however, the right side of the hall was not too bad. "

"I chose Walter Reed Convalescent & Rehab because they have a very good memory care system. We toured the place, everything came out really nice, and they had some very good people there. My mom is happy, healthy, and doing as well as can be expected in this community. There aren't very many amenities and activities since these people are quite far along in their dementia and their mental state doesn't allow for much. But they're kept clean, their rooms are neat, and the food is good. They're good about taking care of people. They feed them, make sure their diapers are changed, and the place doesn't smell. It's just a small unit, but there's quite a few nurses, so everybody kind of has their own person. When you walk around, the main door can't be opened unless it's from the outside, so it's very secure, plus they have ankle bracelets. The place is a nice brick building and it's well-heated and air-conditioned."

"We are all adjusted at Sanders Senior Living Community. My parents have been there since April, and we're very happy with it. It's an amazing facility. It's been fantastic. The staff has been amazing, and the administration has been amazing. The onsite physicians have been right there to take care of every need. My parents love the food. It's just a wonderful facility, and I would recommend it to anybody that needs a place for their parents for assisted living. They lost their main chef the first week my parents were there, and they're trying to get that back together. Most places you walk in and there's always a certain smell, but this place is clean, smells fresh, and just topnotch. I've seen the activity list for the month. They always have it posted and there's always something for them to do. Assisted living is expensive, so it would be great if it would be a little bit cheaper than what it was, but it is what it is."

"If I could afford Windsormeade of Williamsburg, I would have moved right there. It's a gorgeous place. They are close to hospitals. They are associated with all kinds of medical things and to me, that is important. Everything is very high quality. They had us overnight in one of houses and, "Oh, my God, it was beautiful". The apartments are large. The whole place is very, very high quality. They have all kinds of programs and they have shops. They have places were you could go and paint. They had cooking classes and what I like also, is that I could select to cook my own meals. But if you decide to go and have a dinner one night in the dining room, you can. Their dining room is superb. I wish I had a million dollars because if I did, I would have moved over there. "

"Envoy of Williamsburg is where my mother is right now. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. My mom seems to like the food. It’s in a nice location. It looks like they are trying to remodel and redo it, but nothing is great about it at this time. "
