"Bender Terrace is a delightful place. When I went with my mom and grandma to visit, looking for a place for my grandmother, we were thrilled. It has a warm, friendly feeling all about it. We felt it would be something my grandma could grow into, and still keep a feeling of being independent as well. It is in a good area in Lubbock, well maintained and quiet. I really liked that they had transportation available to the residents, and also housekeeping services, activities, and meals could be included. Even though we did go with another place, this is certainly one to consider. "

"The staff and atmosphere of the facility has changed significantly over the last 8 months! The staff are more accomodating. If you reach out to one of the directors, with anything, they make you and your loved one a priority and resolve even the smallest of problems. They are honest and upfront with you from the start. I have seen the new DON personally caring for and interacting with the residents. The new business office manager is sweet, caring, and honest! It's a completely different vibe then a year ago. "I liked the way that Windmill Village Rehabilitation and Care Center treated my wife. The service was good and their people were friendly. It's a nice place. They treated us with decency. The facilities were top-notch. They put in all new flooring, painted everything, and upgraded all of it. It was clean and didn't smell when you walked in. They took care of their people. I was there with my wife after eating lunch, and when she had supper, there was nothing wrong with the food. They had an activity room and a rehab facility that they took her to. They helped me get her on Medicaid and they had to wait while it was being filed and appealed and all that stuff. I had no problem with them."

"Rooms are big for Semi Private Rooms. Private rooms are nice as well as Private Suites! They have closets and drawers separating room and not just a curtain to separate room. Facility is beautiful with big huge windows, staff is great! Staff is helpful with Medicaid Pending Questions and they also have a Medicaid Liason and a Worker for Medicaid Benefits!"
