"The Pines Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center Olean is a really nice place for people to be. It's clean, and the workers seemed very nice. The people seemed very concerned for their residents, and they're friendly. The layout seems easy to get around, like they are all on one floor, and it seems like a very clean place. It's located near stores and restaurants, and it is one-to-two miles away from a hospital."

"Fort Hudson Adult Day Health Care was alright. They did have a good lockdown unit if you had someone with dementia bad or something. The place was clean, and the rooms were nice, they weren't fancy like assisted living. It was more like a nursing home. They had quite a bit of amenities and they had different levels of care, which I liked. They had rehab there, too. So it was good. I saw a couple of residents walking around. It had a really pretty lobby and they had a nice library, and they had a nice dining area."

" My little dog,Pete and I have been going up to the Countryside Adult Home now for a couple of month's.I knew no-one there on the first trip,but thought the Resident's would enjoy seeing Pete,since he is small and very friendly.I was right,they ALL loved him and now they love me too!We try to go up about 3 time's a week as time allow's.It is a very nice place for these people,and most call it "Their Home".The staff are all very careing and do a great job.It is unfortunate that a possible shutdown or relocating of these people may become a reality,as these folk's who live there are a great bunch of people and have had enough shuffling around in their lives already. "

"My name is Alexandria Nelson my father was a resident there at The Orchard! The staff there was always kind,proffessional,friendly and patient!!! They treated my father with respect and i will forever be gratfull to all off them.I would recomend to anyone that is considering placing there loved ones in a nursing home to place them there without reservation!!! "My mom is at The Wesley Community. Everybody is very, very friendly. Communication is outstanding. The hallways are large. The rooms are large. It's very bright and cheerful. It's a wonderful experience. The food is very good. There's a variety of different sandwiches as options. There's everything from chili to fish. Right now, my mom is on the rehab floor. They have a beauty parlor where they can get their hair done. They have social activities. They have had a Christmas party and Christmas caroling. They offer music. In comparison to where she had been before, it's night and day."

"Saratoga care is a nursing home inside the Saratoga Hospital. They've done a lot of renovations in the last couple of years. My mom has been in there twice and my dad's been in there many times. When my mom was dying, they sent in candy stripers. They brought a cart to the room filled with tea, coffee, water, and cookies. I'm going to be sending letters to the Director of the hospital to let them know that I couldn't have asked for any better caring people in the world. "

"Dad has been at Granville Center for a month now. The staff is very good, very friendly, and very helpful. They keep us up-to-date with his care. It is a great place. They have all kinds of activities there. They have bands that come in and play music, they do bingo and chess. Dad's room is double occupancy and it is very nice. He's got his own TV, his own phone, a huge closet, a bed, and a bathroom. It's a very nice setup."

"Holbrook's Adult Home, Inc. was a very nice place, they had a nice dining area, and Debbie, the person who was in charge, was very nice. She showed us the rooms. They do have a porch where people can sit outside, they have rocking chairs out there. They had like a solarium where you could sit in there and read books, with big windows, and sunshine. That was nice. They had a nice dining room. They did have two cats that lived there, which kind of made it homey, and it was decorated very nicely. The rooms were nice, you could bring your own furniture, and they were spacious. The place was very clean. They were sitting down to eat when we were there. So people were coming in, sitting down at the table and everybody there seemed happy. I did see some people doing puzzles in another section of the place, and they seemed happy."

"My mom fell and has been in Adirondack for the past two weeks. She loves it there. She likes being around a lot of people and said the food is good. Everything is great. The aides are good, very friendly, and try to do everything they can. They have an activities director, and she took them on a bus to a nearby restaurant. Mom is in a two-bedroom, and it’s spacious enough for her needs. "
