My husband is in Eastern Star Home and Infirmary. We chose it because my whole family is within five minutes, so we're with him every day. He's been there about four months now. There are not a lot of residents there yet, but the care is so good. They have activities and meals and everyone is so caring. I love the location in the little village of Oriskany. It's an easy access. They have a beautiful patio to sit out in, in the summer when the weather's nice. The food is excellent. My husband seems to be adjusting well. They're very attentive, and if there are any problems, they would call. I love it there. They do a great job. He's in a private room. Value for money is terrible like every memory care unit. There's no coverage for memory care. It's out of pocket.
