I visited a relative a few weeks ago and left feeling sick and shocked. The place is shabby, run down and dirty. It is depressing and dark as well as dirty. They stick 2 beds in these tiny bedrooms. The staff seems like they just got out of state prison. Who is their right mind would put a loved one in this disgusting place? Why hasn't the state shut it down? So much covering up when it comes to the elderly. i'd rather be dead than exist here.

I was very disappointed in the care that my mother-in-law was given at Greenbrook Manor Nursing. The staff was negligent in a couple of instances with her. I was just very unhappy with the overall service that she received there. As far as the food went, she was on a pureed diet. Basically, all she ever did was color a little bit. I didn't like anything about it.

Facility seems worn out- wallpaper peeling, dining room is drab; parking is almost non-existent. Nurses and professional staff are wonderful, but dining room aides shove large spoonfuls of food into patients' mouths, without care for the mess they're making, or if the patient has chewed the previous mouthful. They do start the patient's day with making sure they are clean, but I think the patients there sit all day in their wet/dirtied clothes; couldn't get a straight answer for how often they are checked to see if their diaper needed changing. Otherwise, there is good communication between doctors/nurses and family of patients.
