My aunt moved to Carriage Hill following several falls. She was so hesitant to move to assisted living, but settled right in to the warm, homey atmosphere that Carraige Hill provides. All the staff was wonderful to her and she definitely had a few favorites who treated her like family. Requests were met without hesitation or complaint. And everyone greeted the residents and their loved ones with a smile. The activities coordinator has a few fun things scheduled every week, including trips to restaurants, beach rides for ice cream, and shopping trips. Residents are encouraged to participate in as many things as they'd like. The big events that my aunt loved were the Employee Appreciation Picnic and the Holiday Party. My aunt was at Carriage Hill for only 7 months. Unfortunately, her needs increased rapidly and she had to be moved to memory care. I was out of town when the need for her to move occurred. Sara and the nursing team helped to secure her a room in a terrific facility and even moved her belongings in my absence. I can't say enough good things about Carriage Hill. If you are looking for an ALF that is small, personal, and has a family atmosphere, this is definitely a wonderful place to consider.

The residents at Carriage Hill Assisted Living are all very happy and look well-cared for. The workers, too, are happy, loving, and genuinely care for them. They respond quickly to their needs with appropriate action and at the same time have a good sense of humor with the residents. It's a clean facility. It's in a country setting, but on a busy road, so when they're looking out a window, they can see cars going by and there's a train that goes by every once in a while. However, they still see other life going on outside of their windows. There's an outside porch that they have access to and they have a handicap van where they take residents to go get ice cream or to go take a ride to the beach. They have musical entertainers and my mom's getting physical therapy, too. So, there are a lot of different things that they do. It's wonderful. They have a cook to order breakfast so they can order what they want. If my mom would like to have two scrambled eggs with bacon, and two toast with grape jelly, she can have that. It's beautiful.

Carriage Hill Assisted Living has been home to my Mom since it first opened. It is a light, clean residence of safety and good cheer. Mom's basic needs are always met. What is impressive about this care provider is the effort the owners and each staff member genuinely apply to know Mom as a person not just as a resident. They are kind, industrious and approachable. With gratitude, peace of mind and heart I submit this review.

We came upon Carriage Hill per a recommendation from a visiting nurse as my Mother's dementia was beginning to progress to a point she needed more care and support. The minute I entered the doors I knew it was going to be her new home. The facility is so clean and nicely decorated and feels so welcoming and happy. Sara was so accommodating and helpful and made a very stressful process so much easier. The staff is amazing and truly care about each resident as well as their families. My mom moved in shortly before all the Covid restrictions and even through that process they always kept us well informed and the welfare of residents top priority. My mom passed recently and the care and compassion she received right till the end will never be forgotten. I'll be forever grateful that we found Carriage Hill and would recommend it if you're looking for a place for a loved one.

I find that I was SO very lucky to find this great place for my brother. It is small, home-like, and has a caring, professional staff who have been wonderful to my brother. He could no longer live on his own, and his care had become beyond my ability, so finding this home for him has been invaluable to both of us.

My mother went to Carriage Hill as its first resident. Mom had great angst but from the first moment was welcomed so dearly and warmly that all trepidation disappeared immediately. She became and was part of the Carriage Hill family. I felt so blessed to have my mother, my best friend, at Carriage Hill until she passed in June of 2020. I know she felt that way also. My gratitude to the owners and staff is so heartfelt.

I was at Carriage Hill Assisted Living for meals. It's a smaller facility and the meals were very nice, and homestyle, almost like individual service. It was really fabulous. They had lots of activities, but it's very expensive compared to the others. I had the administrator who was also the owner introduce me to several residents and two of them were in the middle of going to two different activities. They had six things to choose from just for that two-hour period, so the activities were very good.

I liked Carriage Hill because it’s very homey. They do have activities, but dad just hang out, watch TV, and socialize. The rooms are very clean and very modern. The food is very good and home cooked, exactly what I would cook. The people there are amazing, very caring, and you feel like you’re in your own home.
