When you walk in you hear laughter and staff/ residents interactions not the regular nursing home feeling. Clean scent and home like environment. This is the place I picked for my father, to his last moments he was treated with dignity and as family to the staff. When picking a place for your loved one visit and visit often different times. This facility doesn't matter what time you come in the same greeted smiles and warm welcome from staff and residents!

The rooms are very dirty and unsanitary. They keep the place sweltering hot also. Meals have consistently been served late or not at all. The staff here do not care about anything. Very unsafe if you’re planning to place a family member here. This makes sense because according to DPHHS complaints and violations in 2022, this nursing home has paid over $200k in fines for unsafe conditions.

My father loves it at Laurel Health and Rehab! Great connections and fun environment for residents to feel important in their own community!

The dinning room chairs were pee stained, my relative went 17 days no bath. Administration is spineless when patients needs to be stood up for. When obvious strife in family situation, the patients needs do not come first. Very sad

I got stuck in this place for no reason. Trying to get out its not the best place to go If your elderly can speak get up on their own then they might have a chance. if they're out of it I feel sorry for them i don.t know what kind of rehab they have but i haven't seen anything I have filed 2 grevency forms and about to fill out another They never or most of the time don't give you your call light and when you say something they say I'll remember Right Depending on who is working watch out

The facility it's self looks wonderful...some of the staff seem to care more than the rest . They take way to long to respond to the buzzer , The food in my opinion is terrible in fact our mom has not eaten much of anything . We are thinking of moving her as soon as possible

Laurel Health and Rehab is a caring environment. As a potential volunteer there I have visited on several occasions and always found a welcoming, well managed environment. They have lots of activities planned for residents all year long. They are an employee owned facility and have just received awards for being 100% deficiency free. I would be happy to be cared for in this home.

I am not really crazy about this center. In fact I had been doing some phone calls of possibly having her moved to a different facility. I'm just not crazy about the care that she is getting there right now. I talked to one of their staff about a certain concern and he just say it's being taken care of and they understand. I've been here in MT for some time and I go there every morning and I can see that my mother had to ring her buzzer and lying in bed in pain because they haven't given her pain pill. I ask how long it has been like this. I don't know if they're short staffed or what the problem is but I just don't feel that my mother is getting the care she needed. It's not worth for the price that we pay them. The food is just horrible and I'm not even sure if I'd feed it to a dog and I don't know if it's because they feel that everybody is elderly there that they don't have their taste buds anymore or what. Surely they can do better with the food.

It only took a few seconds to realize that Laurel Health and Rehab was the place to write about. The main entrance has a lovely, well maintained bird cage with finches chirping "welcome." The facility is always spotless, as are all the facilities I have visited in Montana. It is located in a quiet, small town neighborhood and you will often see residents walking or being walked around the nearby streets. They have lots of fun activities and a caring, professional staff. The facility is owned by the employees, so that gives them a stake making it the best it can be It is geared to being affordable to those of us on fixed incomes. When visiting friends and patients there, I have always been impressed and would certainly consider using it myself if necessary.
