My friend is a resident at Westpark Village's assisted living. I would give them a very high rating for the upkeep of the place. They have been extremely helpful with every single request my friend has, and they are indicating genuine interest in her happiness. They are also doing everything that is within the agreement, so far. My friend is partially deaf and almost completely blind, so she is limited in activities that she is interested in pursuing. For example, she is not interested in the exercise they are providing as she is in pretty good physical condition for her age. They have a lot of activities like bingo, but she can't do that because of hearing and she can't see the bingo card. So she's very limited in activities, however, her very favorite thing is music and last week they had live music four different times and she loved that. They offer other things, too, so she said she's going to investigate. She is a former painter, a very beautiful landscaping type of painter but because of her eyes, she has not been able to pursue that. They have a good facility there and she is interested in trying that again. She's only been there a week so she's not acclimated yet, but she's getting there. The cost is very competitive. It's not in the highest nor the lowest, I'd say the middle, of the range of the facilities that we look into.

Westpark Village was an amazing place. I would live there. If you were independent living that would be a wonderful place to live. The building and the grounds are very, very well-kept. It was the nicest as far as the facility. All of the furniture, the furnishings, and the window paintings were just a step above. It was big and it had four levels, but I just couldn't see Mom in it. They had two different times for dinner. They had the main dining room, and if you wanted to go to a more classy dining experience, then it was an hour later. And then they had a private dining area that had linen tablecloths, linen napkins, and nice plates and glasses. The amenities there were far superior to the other places. They had a regular cinema room. They had a regular room for church services. They had their own podiatrist on staff. It was just amazing the stuff that they had. The day I was there, they were scheduling horse and buggy rides. They would get the residents in the buggy, and they would take them for a ride around the neighborhood and bring them back. The night before that, they had a live band in the dance area downstairs. They had live music and dancing. You could also go and sit in the sunroom atriums, and you could go and sit and read a book or whatever. It was over the top. And the rooms were very spacious.

I wasn't impressed with Westpark Village. The facility had a lot of dark wood around it. Like the door frames were dark wood. It just gave us a feeling of almost death. It was just one time we went over there and the women I saw were all frowning. Nobody seemed to enjoy themselves. It felt unappetizing. Everything was nice, but it was so dark.

I will be moving into Westpark Village. Everyone seemed very friendly. To have as many people as they do, they have plenty of room, so it doesn't seem like people are tripping over each other. The rooms that I toured were in the process of being prepared for the next resident, so I didn't get to see one except in the online advertisement, and it had the apartment that I would be going to exactly. The food was nicely served and it was very good. It was lunch. They have quite a variety of activities. I got to see the volunteers who were preparing a cake for one of the activities they were going to do. They seemed to have access to people who wanted to volunteer. The staff was very nice. I didn't see anything that was wrong at all.

I did a tour of Westpark Village. It was just too over-the-top fancy, and if you want a snack or something, you had to walk to the kitchen to get it. They had formal dining; these people are in their 90s, they're done with that kind of living. It's fine for those people that want to live that way, but it was not my mother at all. The staff was nice. It's fancy, and the place is huge. If the people expect more fancy sitting areas and things like that, I suggest that to them, but it just didn't fit us at all. It's in a good location. The rooms weren't any different than they are at the others, so they were just average, your usual. They have bingo and sitting fitness.

My father is in Westpark Village. The place is immaculate and the people that work there are extremely nice. They're very attentive and very polite. He is a combination of independent and assisted living. He is independent but with assisted services. It has memory care, but it does not have nursing care. It's very nice. The food is very good. It's not inexpensive though.

We toured Westpark Village. We saw the whole facility. The overall experience was very good. The staff who gave me the tour was very nice. The residents seemed to enjoy visiting as we went through, and we got to see lunch being served, so it was very good. We didn't look at the menu, but we did talk about the menu, and it seemed like it would be a menu that my father would enjoy. The facility was very clean, homey, and inviting. The room was very appropriate. It was more than just four walls, so it was very nice. The location was easy to get to, and convenient. I was very impressed with the amenities. Not only do they have the transportation and more nursing services than a lot of independent living areas, but they also have a system where if someone is new, they welcome them and have a little escort with them to get them familiar.

Westpark Village was a very nice place that was just remodelled. The people that live there loved it. The dining areaand the staff was very nice. I’ve been there for other events like fashion shows and to eat with them since the food is very nice.

The staff is super friendly. They know all the residents by name and seem to genuinely care about them. Turnover is very low, even in the high-school age dining room servers. They are sweet to the residents, and even remember their food preferences. The building itself is very nice. It is decorated well--even seems a little too plush. It has a movie theatre, a chapel, a party room, outdoor areas, game rooms, and lots of public small seating areas. There are laundry rooms on each floor--clean and comfortable, with reading materials. There is a library with computer access. Families can plan private parties in the facility. There is parking, including a large underground parking facility. This is nice in Montana in the winter. They plan a lot of special "themed" events for the residents. They have a van available for transportation to shopping and medical appointments. The food is great. Residents can have guests for meals at any time. There is a nurse on staff. Each resident is checked on each morning.
