My Dad was a resident of Constant Care Home. He was made to feel like he was one of their family. His medicine was given timely. He had scheduled snacks and plenty of healthy food to eat. He could go out in the back yard and enjoy the sunshine. . Constant Care Home is actually a residence. It is living in a home with a large living room, large dining room and kitchen. It has all the amenities of one's home. They cared for my Dad until he went to heaven. Even at that time, they were caring and assisted with our needs. I would highly recommend them for care of your loved ones, who require the specialized care they provide.

I looked everywhere to find a place to take my Dad. I found Constant Care which is a care facility for people with dementia and need one on one care. Site was great she made my Dad feel like he was home he went out side to help with the garden helped inside also. They were helping with memory care and everything else he needed. He felt right at home. They had home made meals and snacks. They had holiday meals together like a family. My Dad has passed on and I know he had the best care ever. I would highly recommend them if your family member needs contacted care. I'm so happy that found Constant Care for my Dad.

I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

I do not recommend this place at all if you want your loved one well take care of. My Grandmother was in this place for only 12 days and when we went to visit her she had bruises all over her hands, her whole pinky was bruised, bruises on her arms, legs. She was in constant pain, so we the family took her to the hospital and she has a fractured vertebrae. If we had not went and checked on her she would still be sitting there in pain. My Grandmother is traumatized from this place. Whoever is in charge of this place needs to do better! They are horrible for doing this to my Grandmother when she was in their care!

Constant Care Montana is a converted house, so it's a much smaller platform than the other places. But the problem is that the people needed to conform to the area rather than conforming to the residents. But my mother has to have a lift chair to get in and out of her chair, and there is no place there for a lift chair in the common area. They have a shared area where everybody goes to watch TV, and then they have a small bedroom as your own private space. The other thing that was a very big detriment (and was the decision maker) is that there is only one bathroom that's shared by all of the residents. So if you have an older person who needs to use the bathroom and it's already being used, you can run into trouble. There's another bathroom that they said is for emergencies only and it's more like for the staff. I like the fact that there was 24-hour service there, but it's tightly regimented. They would send the residents to bed at 7:30, no question asked because at that point they would do their cleaning. But what if the residents didn't want to go to bed at 7:30? What if they wanted to stay up until 10:00 to watch the 10:00 news? They wouldn't allow it. They have to conform to this strict schedule. And if they couldn't, then that isn't a place for them. It was also very expensive compared to the other places.

I liked the hominess of Constant Care Montana, but for somebody that has a lot of energy, I didn't like the fact that they didn't have a locked-in area so that the resident couldn't get out and leave, and my brother-in-law's been known to do that. I liked the lady that was taking care of them and she explained everything very well and also gave us a good idea on how the meds were passed since they don't have a med tech or anything. I liked the way they did that. The bad thing was they're not able to give fixed scale insulin, from what I understood. It was clean, and I liked it for the type of structure it was, and for residents with dementia that don't wander a whole lot, it was good.

We went to Constant Care Montana. The people were fabulous. It would be a very, very nice place. If anybody was to come and ask me if I knew of a place, I would recommend it. A couple of their rooms are private and the others are double that you have to share with someone. The rooms are adequate for what the people need. They have furniture and stuff. It's all set up. All you have to do is take your clothes and move in. It's a very awesome place. They told us that they try to do a barbecue at least once a week. They've got a garden going. The staff has quite a rapport with her people. She had made a snack for the two people that are there and for my sister-in-law. She brought a couple of hard cookies over, and I said to my sister-in-law, 'You aren't going to be able to eat them, are you?' And the staff said, 'That's OK. I'll fix it.' She goes over to the refrigerator and gets milk and pours milk on them, so they soften up and then my sister-in-law could eat. My sister-in-law doesn't have any teeth, so she eats mostly soft food. But she had more Jell-O and she had these cookies and milk. They were fixing up the backyard so that the people that live there could wander out in the backyard and they didn't have to worry about them getting out, wandering off, or whatever. They are just getting this going for the most part, so it's a work in progress, but I would recommend this to anybody that is needing care for someone. And it's a set price. It's not going to go up or down because you need help with the laundry or you need help with bathing or whatever. This is a set price when you go in.

Constant Care Montana was very clean and very well-kept. I was very impressed by it. The beds in the rooms were made up and everything. It was a very nice facility. The staff was very nice and seemed very caring. I think it's a wonderful place and we're hoping that things work out, and that we can maybe send my mom there. They said that they do three meals a day, and they expect them to be there to eat during those times. The dining room was very nice and very clean. I didn't see any activities that they were doing right at the time, but the staff did show me some of the activities that they do. They try to keep them busy.

Constant Care Montana was very clean, it's a very homey feeling. It didn't feel like an assisted living because it was a house, so it was nice. The rooms were all very nice, very clean, and very spacious, like there's enough room for people to have their things there. We met the caretaker there, and she was very nice. She's also the one who does the cleaning, cooking, and other medications. I liked her, she gave me a good impression. I sat at the table in the dining area, I didn't eat anything, but it was very clean, kept up, there's more than enough room for eight to ten seats at the table. It's a very nice dining area. They also have a backyard with a garden area. It's just that it doesn't fit people like my mom that needs more care.
