"My mom was at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare Center. The rooms were very small and very old, and they remind me of old dormitories. The furnishings and everything were old, too. The staff there was just wonderful. The food was OK for somebody staying there. If you're on a special type of dietary need, they adjust your meals to that. If you're not hungry at 5 o'clock and you get hungry at 6, they will feed you at 6 instead of 5 o'clock. They kind of have an open dining time between 5 and 7. Sometimes if they want to have supper at 4, they'll prepare something for them. There's a general dining area for everyone. The outside grounds were nice."

"I have had multiple family members and have friends that have had family members residing in this facility as well. The staff is always friendly and courteous. they are sure to make the residents as well as guests and visitors feel at home. They know what they are doing there. All of the residents really seem to enjoy themselves. They enjoy the company of other residents as well as the staff. I've never been in such a friendly environment! Everything is done in a timely manner and the staff really seems to operate efficiently! The facilities were very clean and well maintained. Health concerns are always communicated to the correct family members in a timely manner. The staff is always available if you need to talk to them and be updated on the state of health of your loved one. It isn't the fanciest place in the world, but it definitely has a nice "homey" feel. The staff is so great at building rapport with you that you don't feel like you're surrounded by strangers."
