My mom is a resident at Heart of the Ozarks. I think the staff there is wonderful. The nurse’s keep me informed on all the things I need to know about my mom. The administrative team is just as wonderful as the nurses and CNA’s. It’s like a big family there. I would recommend this place for anyone that has to make that decision to live in long term care.

My family member is at Heart of the Ozarks and I will say the care my family receives is wonderful. The staff is always attentive to my loved one’s needs. The business staff as well as the healthcare staff made the transition with ease for my loved one. I would 100 % recommend Heart of the Ozarks to anyone who need to place their loved one. The therapy department is very knowledgeable and does not have the attitude of giving up on the resident. They encourage them to get stronger. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place and I am glad I chose this place for my loved one.

My mom was at Heart of the Ozarks Healthcare Center. The rooms were very small and very old, and they remind me of old dormitories. The furnishings and everything were old, too. The staff there was just wonderful. The food was OK for somebody staying there. If you're on a special type of dietary need, they adjust your meals to that. If you're not hungry at 5 o'clock and you get hungry at 6, they will feed you at 6 instead of 5 o'clock. They kind of have an open dining time between 5 and 7. Sometimes if they want to have supper at 4, they'll prepare something for them. There's a general dining area for everyone. The outside grounds were nice.

I visited Heart Of The Ozarks Healthcare Center. I remember that there was a man in the hallway, and he sat there for four hours and hollered for a nurse, but nobody went in there and checked on him. I also know that there was a time where a man sat in his room for two days straight and was soiled and hadn't been fed for 48 hours. It's my hometown, but do I wanna go there for treatment? I'd say no. It's less than a half mile from my house, but I went elsewhere. It's basically a place where you go to and die. The building was clean, but it was old, and kind of bland.
