I am a resident of Ava Place. It's a very moderate living place. It meets my needs right now and I'm not needing a lot of care. I can do a lot of things myself and everything. It's very mild assisted living. They do my food, my medicines, and they do my laundry. They clean my room. I'm in a private room and I don't share with anyone and I like that. The staff, meet my needs and they're a little shorthanded, but for the most part, I'm thinking that they're qualified. They serve three meals a day. I don't care for their food at all. They have activities like bingo, and twice a week they have Bible study.

This is a great home. Administrator and staff have done an excellent job since they purchased in 2012. Staff are always caring and take exceptional care of my family. Food is really good. Homemade special meals are made from Italian to steak and shrimp, grilling it is all wonderful.

Wonderful place great management and staff. Home is updated very clean and inviting. Staff treat you like family greate rates activities.

The staff at Ava Place were nice when we were there. Maybe they should improve their appearance, and their care for the residents. They should improve the cleanliness of the facility. I know it is hard taking care of people, but they can maintain the presentable look of their staff at all times. The facility looks institutional, and is just a small community.
