Claiborne at Hattiesburg Independent Living is close to where my family is. I like that the apartments did not look like hospital rooms. I looked at several and they just kind of look like a little hospital room there. It's independent living and the place is beautiful. This staff is nice and accommodating during my tour. The restaurant was beautiful and the place was really good. It was just what I was looking for. They were extremely helpful to me because I've never lived in an apartment so I had a lot of questions. I only ate just one lunch there, but lunch was their big meal of the day and it was very good. It was a shrimp dish. There was no problem with anything in the apartment I'm getting. They're redoing and painting it. Anything that I need before I move in so I thought that they were pretty great on that. It's off of Highway 11, which is the highway that goes just south of Harrisburg. From there, if you want to take your car or the bus or whatever they have there, it's just kind of centrally located so it's a good location.

I toured The Claiborne at Hattiesburg. Just great. Not sure if that's gonna be a good fit for my dad, but we'll see. The facility is wonderful. The staff was very friendly. It was very well-kept. The activities are limited right now because of COVID.

We were thrilled to find cottages that were not buy in. Everything included in one monthly fee. The staff go out of their way to make you happy and create a warm and family feeling.

My mom moved from a large home to a two bedroom apartment last year at The Claiborne, so it was a big adjustment. The staff loved mom through the transition and has been so kind to her. We can call and talk to Julie, Janna and Cathy in the office any time about Mom and they know how she is doing and are quick to answer our questions courteously and professionally. Mom is very happy in her new environment with as much or little exposure to friends and activities as she desires. She is safe and cared about and welcome. We feel like she is on a continuous cruise ship that never leaves the dock!

Life at The Claiborne, Hattiesburg, Mississippi Home should be an anchor, a port in a storm, a happy place in which to dwell, a place where we are loved, and a place where we can love. That is life at The Claiborne in Hattiesburg, MS. My husband Ralph and I have lived here for the better part of two years, and we are beyond happy! Our children are so grateful that we were able to make our home here, as it relieves them the stress and worry of making sure Ralph and I are taken care of. The staff at The Claiborne are all professional and personal, and their priorities are to give each resident detailed, hands on care, and to make The Claiborne the absolute best facility here in the south. And it IS the BEST. The staff, residents, facilities..., and the best home cooked meals we've had in many years! And most importantly... our friends. God answered our prayers and led us here. Our home. Our friends. Our family. Our Claiborne.

This is a beautiful place with kind, caring staff. Have never seen anyone act impatient or short with any of us. They are all respectful and extremely helpful. I cannot imagine needing anything that we aren't given here. I have lived here since they first opened, 5 years, and have been well cared for and plan to live out my days here.

This facility is simply beautiful and very well kept! It gets top rating from me. My Dad (87) has lived independently here for over 3 years. His apartment is perfect, very private, quiet and looks over the beautiful swimming pool and putt putt golf area grounds. The staff is TRULY amazing, they respect, love and watch after Dad like family members do. There are always fun activities lined up every week to keep the tenants engaged like exercise and art classes, music groups, entertainment, Movie night, happy hour and so much more. The food is delicious prepared by a great chef and the dining room crew takes extra care of everyone’s needs. I highly recommend The Claiborne! We are so blessed to have this lovely place in our town.

My mom was at The Claiborne at Hattiesburg Independent Living for two years. They were wonderful. I love it and it was great. The staff was fabulous. I can't say enough about them; they're really wonderful. My mother chose this place. She liked the appearance of it and how clean it is. It seemed like a fine hotel and the apartments were laid out very nicely. They had a beautiful pool with a fountain. Also you can take your animal with you and they had a dog park. They had everything my mom needed. She can even do physical therapy in the pool. Her apartment was perfect. She was on the 2nd floor and she had a balcony that was a good size. We set tables, chairs, plants and flowers, and she overlooked the pool and the fountain. It was beautiful. The food was good. Their activities were great and the activity director was fabulous. She came up with the best ideas.

The Claiborne at Hattiesburg is gorgeous. It's absolutely beautiful, and it looks like you're in a five-star hotel. We didn't see many residents. You have many things to do there, but my mother-in-law did not think she would be taking advantage of them. The rooms were smaller than the other place we saw, but they were a lot more expensive. We had an appointment to see it, but nobody knew anything about it, so they had to run around and find somebody to show us around. They were very nice, and very apologetic about it. Everything was nice, and there wasn't anything bad to say about it, except that it was too big for my mother-in-law. The dining area was more like a restaurant. They have different levels of care, and they cover almost everything you could possibly need there. It was far away from town.

The Claiborne at Hattiesburg was beautiful and very clean. The dining area was very nice. It was a fairly new place, so everything was clean and new. The rooms were a decent size with a kitchenette.
