My dad moved into Benedictine Windermere Way. When you walk into it, it is so inviting. They always have fresh coffee and water there, and the staff is pleasant. The food was great. The facility is very clean. There's an activity calendar, and there's always something going on. They have bingo, and they have a bar place. They have a movie night. They play cards. They play left and right, and they play dice. They have a puzzle room, a library room, and a workout room. My dad has a studio, and I was impressed that he had a stove, a fridge, and lots of cupboards in the studio. They have a huge chapel. It's spacious, friendly, well-kept, and they have security.

We went to Benedictine Windermere Way. It was lovely. The appointments and everything were very beautiful. There seemed to be some engagements of the people who lived there. They were decorating for Christmas, and a lot of the people were out doing things. It seemed that the people were out engaged and doing things and that was a little bit more appealing. The apartment we saw seemed about the same as what we've seen in other places. It's adequate. The place was clean, too. The staff who gave the tour was informed but not really enthusiastic. Personally, it's a Catholic organization and we are not Catholic. We could live there, that's for sure, but it didn't have the appeal the Presbyterian homes do, which is a little more like us.

Benedictine Windermere Way was wonderful. The person that toured us, Randy, was super accommodating and was just a great person. The place was beautiful. Absolutely stunning. It's new so the rooms were beautiful. They were quite a bit smaller, but they're still gorgeous. They have a wonderful entrance in that lobby area. It was gorgeous, too. We waited for the meals, but they had a shortage of staff so we did not try the food, but the food looks fabulous. People raved about it. It's prepared by a chef and everybody we talked to loved it. Their dining area was beautiful. There's a fireplace. It's quite large with lots of windows and it's kept up very clean. They have physical therapy and different classes, like exercise classes. They have an outdoor patio. They were grilling out there and the activities looked great. They had an activity down in the theater room that had a big screen on it. They had different get-togethers, happy hours, and special occasions. They have a chapel that's much larger, and they have music playing. They have singalongs and the chapel looked beautiful.

very unorganized, poor communication.very alarming care system and model. Errors and staff lie about it, blame the residnet and they dont follow up or follow through with what they have said. Be very cautious.

Benedictine Windermere Way is a fairly new place. My daughter-in-law's mother enjoys it very much. It's very well done and it is very comfortable. It had excellent people running it. The staff was competent and the activities were excellent. As part of their COVID protocols, you have to wear a mask, put antiseptic on your hands, and keep distance from the people. So, they are very cautious with that.
