I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

My stepmom has been at Arbor Manor for several days, and we chose to have her there since my husband's mom was so well cared for during her multiple stays there as well. Every staff person, from Admissions to the nurses, to the laundry person, have been caring, professional, helpful, and respectful. They've shown compassion for her and for us, and have been so patient with her requests. She has commented several times already on how much she enjoys the food, and can't believe how much she's had to eat! Her room is right-sized: not too big but not too small. She has what she needs and it's pleasant and clean. The large window gives her a nice view and the TV gives her lots of channel selections.

A complete misrepresentation of the truth! While the website and billboards show a decent facility, the truth is beyond disturbing. The staff is ill prepared to handle even the smallest of problems or give a bare minimum of quality of life for the residents. I would not take my family pet there let alone someone in my family that I care about their overall well being. 1. Took 8 hours from admission to get prescribed medications to my loved one. 2. Inconsistent to no scheduled monitoring of medically required blood tests. 3. Couldn't manage to get my loved one out of a chair for 2.5 hours to even use the restroom. 4. Served expired dairy products. 5. NO concern for dietary restrictions, fed my loved one green vegetables (when the loved one is on a blood thinner); a meal consisting of a green hotdog and green beans is likely far outside the scope of proper nutrition. 6. Outside of 1 hour of physical therapy (even after a week at the facility) my loved one is not allowed out of a recliner. 7. Absolutely no privacy in the restroom as they are shared between residents. 8. Constant insect abatement both active (spraying) an passive (roach motels) seen around the facility. 9. The smell alone of the facility leads one to believe that the care for the patients is not being met. I am pulling my loved one out of there and transfering her immediately as this facility is a disgrace to the health care community.

I am/was a resident of this facility

Arbor Manor Care Center is a nursing home and rehabilitation. I was going to move there but I was very unhappy. It was nice when I first got there, but after being there for a couple of months, I was very dissatisfied with the staff, the food, and the cleanliness of the location. I had a rat in my room for three months and I kept reporting it but they wouldn't do anything about it, so I was very unhappy about that. The food was terrible, I lost 10 pounds while I was there. We played bingo and cards which was fine. The staff was very unprofessional and I didn't care for the staff at all. I would never go back there, and I would never recommend it to anybody else.

I am a friend or relative of a resident

It has been two weeks since my mom moved in to Arbor Manor. It is a nice facility. The people are nice and caring. They have daily church meetings and cook outs. The only complaint my mom has is that she would prefer to have physical therapy rather than occupational therapy. But they have been great and very good to my mom.

I am a friend or relative of resident

I feel so lucky that my parents went to Arbor Manor; unfortunately they both needed care at the same time. The Manor is a beautiful, clean facility, and I cannot say enough about their staff. They go out of their way for my parents and that makes them, and my family, so happy. The therapists are the best, and they have truly helped my parents get stronger and feel so much better about their situation. Awesome experience, thank you so much. I would definately recommend Arbor Manor for rehab.
