My mom is at Laurels of Galesburg. She is doing well. She is in memory care because she has dementia and they take good care of them. My mom's room is clean. They have a mat because she falls down a lot. The atmosphere is nice. In terms of activities, she does music and bingo. They have music a lot and they have people come in and sing and stuff like that. She enjoys their activities. The food looks and smells good, too. Overall, so far, Laurels of Galesburg is really nice. The staff members are really good. They keep my mom busy and occupied.

The Laurels Of Galesburg looked like what nursing homes usually look like. It was more like a hospital and not homey. They mostly have shared rooms, which isn't what we were looking for. The staff was very nice, and the person who accommodated me was very helpful.
