"We chose it for my mom because of the fact that they care for her whether she is ambulatory or not. It is also close to the hospital. The staff is very friendly. It is only on one floor, so I don't have to worry about my mom going up and down the elevator or trying to find her way around too much. They have activities. They have different types of church services throughout the week, they have Christmas decorating, and they have special holiday meals. They have a pretty full calendar."

"My wife is at The Pointe at Lifespring Senior Living for respite care. I chose it because it was just very clean and very neat. She has a pretty standard room. It is roomy and very clean, and the bathroom is very roomy and clean, as well. It is set up for older people. The staff is really good. They are very caring and very professional. I highly recommend this facility based on the staff. They have lots of activities. They've done some painting and they have devotions. They took them out to lunch one day this week. And I think this coming week, they're going to take them to the zoo here in Knoxville."

"Wellington Manor of Knoxville was clean. The only thing that I noticed is that they might have been short of help, but I think many places run into that. The living spaces were great, and the rooms were set up good. They can bring their own furniture. The kitchen looked clean. The staff members were very helpful and very courteous, but it appeared that they were very busy, and sometimes, residents had to wait."

"We have chosen Trinity Hills of Knoxville for my mother, and she's moving in on Tuesday. It's very clean, and it feels very homey. The room is very nice, it has laminate wood floors which kind of give us a homey feel. Very roomy, the bathroom very large, and has a nice walk-in shower with all the bars and everything for safety. It has a very large kitchen nook, with a microwave, small refrigerator, small size kitchen sink, and cabinets space, so lots of room and storage. The staff is so, so nice, everyone is very sweet, everyone always greets you, even if they don't know who we are, they're just all very inviting. We have not sampled the food, but I do know that they have a chef on-site and it's restaurant style. So they get to order off of the menu what they want to eat. There is some variety, then they have certain things that they always have, like soup and baked potatoes. They always have that. And then every day there are certain entrees they can choose from. It's a very nice dining area, even the lighting in there is pretty like they have chandeliers and things like that. So it makes it feel like home. They always have bingo. They have a grand piano in the great room and it's off of the dining room. And they have someone that comes and plays music while they eat. They have a fireplace that they can gather around. They have movie days, they have special speakers that come in, and they have a chapel there so they can have Sunday school and church. They can go on outings if they want, and they have a little shuttle that they can go on outings, and then just all kinds of activities constantly, whether it's crafts or things like that."

"We liked Wellington Manor and the style of its rooms. We also liked that it had a memory care. The staff and the accommodations are fine. The memory care is good. The cost is very good because it's much less expensive."

"I wanted to write a thank you for the gracious time taken by Amy in Sevierville, Tennessee to first list and understand about my mother and family and then to offer good suggestions and ask good questions to have me further considering the things we will want to think about as we make this move. We still have many IFs this was a first visit. My mother has several choices in different states so we are not ready to make a move quite yet, but I left the tour feeling as though our needs mattered and with a clear understanding of how the facility works as far as what is available and how to get going with a name on the list etc. I was able to meet 3 residents, see 1 apartment and some activities. Amy was very professional but also very approachable and ready to listen. I appreciated this very much. It is very early in our search but we can see that Brookdale Offers much to the senior and their family and they will certainly be in the high considerations as we move forward."
