The Best Memory Care Communities in Oswego County, NY

"My wife has moved in. It's a very nice place. I have no problem with it. It's very clean. The people were very nice, they made it really feel like they were family there. We were impressed with the cleanliness and the demeanor of all the people in it. Everybody was moving around. They have a ton of activities and that's exactly what she needed; she had to be around people. She wasn't doing well at home if it would just be me watching her. It was just a very impressive place to be. Right now, she is in assisted living. They are redoing their memory care. The staff were very helpful. She's eating things she never eats before; she loves the food. She's doing things that she doesn't even like to do, like gospel singing, bingo. There's a ton of amenities. The place was convenient. It was easy to get to, and it's close to home where we live. I think it's only nine miles from home. It was very nice and in a very good location."

"Keepsake Village at Greenpoint was OK. It was very similar to the other facilities. They all were studios, and that was the best you could get. There were no apartments or anything. There were no two rooms. There's a bathroom and a bedroom, so I'll have to downsize my mother considerably going anywhere. They have quite a few shared rooms, too. The staff who gave the tour was very nice. I know they had activities, but I couldn't tell what they were."
