"I toured Peregrine Senior Living at Clifton Park. It was friendly. It looked like they were meeting everybody's needs. There were a lot of activities scheduled. I think that they're engaging their clients well. The staff was very friendly. Everybody seems happy. They're like dorm rooms. There's a variety of choices. I think that's good depending on somebody's finances. You can have a single room with your own bathroom or you can have a shared room with a shared shower in the hallway. I think they can fit anybody's needs. The activities director was excellent. The layout was nice. There were a lot of little places to sit and have coffee. There were big places to have big events like the cafeteria. They have a library there which is cool. There are a couple of outdoor areas and little courtyards that were very nice."

"Dad just moved to Peregrine Senior Living at Colonie. The people who work there are very kind and compassionate. They truly care about what they're doing and about the residents. I feel that my dad is in very good hands there. They have a lot of activities that are memory-related. They also do a lot of activities that would have taken place a few decades ago, because that's where a lot of people with memory care still remember what was going on during that time. They also have physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. Then they have delicious food."

"I've just had my mother in Home of the Good Shepherd about two months now. I like the atmosphere of this place. The people are very friendly. The staff there is really nice too. They're very attentive and very nice to everybody. They're very good actually. The nurses are able to take care of my mom 24/7. I haven't heard any complaints about them. They have plenty of activities all day long. They do bingo, different arts, etc. My mom doesn't do any of that stuff but she plays the piano for them. They have a grand piano in their dining area. My mom has an apartment. It doesn't have a kitchen area and it's a little small but for what she needs, it's okay. The price is good. Everything is included and that's a big factor for us. Overall, my mom is doing okay in this facility. "

"My tour experience of Ingersoll Place Assisted Living was positive. Everything seemed to be well organized. The person who gave the tour was very informative. She wanted to make sure that all my questions were answered, which she did very nicely. The rooms were good size. Everything looked nice and clean, so that was positive as well. The dining area was very nice. The outdoor spaces were very nicely kept, and looked like a nice place to sit and enjoy the natural environment."

"I toured Saratoga Memory Care Residence . It was just very bright. The people there had walkers, and there were wheelchairs, but a lot of people were walking around. A lot of it seemed less depressing. It just seemed brighter and more people that were more alert and doing more things than the other place I went to. The woman who gave us the tour was excellent. And then I observed other workers there, and they interacted very well, a lot of them knowing everybody's name. They have a staff member in every hallway. It's a circular type facility, you start at one place and then you walk, and then you come back to where you started. And in each hallway, there is someone there. I like the security on the doors. They have a wonderful outdoor area, where they can walk on their own. It was secure. There was what looked like a very nice hair salon place. It just was more modern. If you're offered a choice of two meals, it was set up almost to look like a restaurant, which I liked. They have other rooms for activities. So I like that it was a separate dining room and it looked like a little restaurant. In the courtyard, they have raised beds and they do their own vegetables and incorporate them into their dinners and so forth, another thing that I thought was very good."
