"Peregrine Senior Living at Clifton Park was excellent. I love that location, and the person who gave us the tour, Patti, was extremely engaging and informative. The tour was a lot longer than any of us even realized, it was very nice. The rooms were beautiful. They've just almost completed a full remodel and everything looked amazing. They have beautiful gardens and lots of beautiful flowers. They're very well maintained, and they're groomed plants and beautiful flowers. It was just great. We saw some of the residents enjoying some television in the main area. They all seemed to be enjoying each other along with the bird sanctuary that they have there. It was very, very impressive. The dining area was very updated. They had very interesting menus. A lot of the staff also purchase the food there to eat as well. I was interested in trying some."

"We are leaning towards Peregrine Senior Living at Colonie for my dad. The person managing the place, we could see how caring and kind she was to the residents. Even though she was having a very demanding morning when we went there, she took the time out and showed us around and we could see her interaction with the residents. She was very compassionate. It felt like a home environment and a little less institutional. It was a beautiful facility with a lot of windows and natural light. They had a beautiful chapel. The rooms were nicely set up with private bathrooms. They had a big gathering place as you walk in where the residents were having fun playing and bouncing around a ball with music. There are just a lot of little areas where people could sit and watch TV or take a rest on a sofa. It just seemed to have a lot of space where each resident could find a place where they could be comfortable. They also had a very nice courtyard."

"I'm in the assisted living center called Home of the Good Shepherd. I chose it because of the location and the fact that I could bring my dog. They are very kind here. We get great care. I have a small apartment with no kitchen. I came because I was really sick. Right now, we're on lockdown because of the virus, so we can't go out to lunch or leave the place without getting a week of quarantine. The room is adequate. I got a big bedroom and a small living room. The staff is really kind. The experience is pretty good. They're really great. The place is comfortable. This is non-profit, but it's not shabby. The activities are more for people who are less able than I am right now. I don't want to play bingo and I don't want to do group crossword puzzles or listen to somebody giving talks about the life of some movie stars. I'm just kinda bored doing all of those things. However, I have friends and we watch good movies."

"My husband is in Ingersoll Place. It is a smaller facility compared to where he was but the care is very good. The reason I chose this facility is because of the size of the building. It is just very pleasant. "

The Saratoga Springs facility is for relatively high functioning residents.... and he made many friends while there.
