We are grateful for the time our brother spent at Maryland Manor. For 14 months, the team provided him with not only the care he needed, but also the kindness and respect that made all the difference in his journey. The facility itself was always clean, comfortable and well maintained. We were always welcomed by a warm and friendly atmosphere, and it was clear that the residents felt at home there. What truly stood out to us was the support and communication we received as family members. They kept us informed and were compassionate and caring. They provided not only medical care but emotional support as well, which was invaluable during such a challenging time.

Maryland Manor Assisted Living is beautiful and very, very spacious. Meals are three times a day. They always have two attendants there, but when I got there, there was no place to park, and you have to back down the driveway, which is a very steep hill. Trying to get in and out of there was horrible. It's out in the country. I was hoping to get my friend somewhere closer to me and less expensive. I couldn't believe the price. She's going to be there for the rest of the month. We could keep her there until we find something more affordable. The owners are wonderful. They're right there onsite. The assistants are wonderful, their care is terrific, their meals are great, and it's very clean. My friend shares a room with another woman. It has its own bathroom, and they both have their own closets with shelves built in. It's acceptable, and there's one big dresser where they each have two drawers, and there are two single beds. There would be room if you wanted to put a chair. The dresser is in front of where the beds are. You could probably set up a television if you'd like. They allow you to do such things there. They're very flexible. They're very nice. It's just very expensive for anyone. I've walked in, and it smells so good. It's just like Mom's kitchen.
