My mom moved into Park View At Fullerton. It's clean, safe, and they do offer the seniors, if they do need assistance, pull cords in the bathrooms. The building is very modern and updated. She has a dishwasher and all the things she needs. This community allows the seniors to be still independent, but it also offers various forms of help that they may need and can take advantage of if necessary. The community is very supportive of the seniors. It's a safe environment, meaning that you just can't walk in. They have proper buzzer systems and safety in place. The seniors can look at their phone and see who's buzzing in if they know the person. So, it's very safe. I love that. They offer great support. They have different things like farmers' markets, where the seniors can get fresh produce, fruits, and vegetables. They have a lot of different activities for the seniors if they want to get involved in the community and with their fellow residents. The staff is very nice and helpful. The facility is very community-oriented, but it's a little bit off the main road. If the seniors do not have mobility access or have a car or someone who could pick them up, it can be challenging to get to the main road from the building unless they're good walkers. They have bingo, holiday parties, and potlucks that the seniors can get involved in. They have a lot of community. If they need additional resources, such as filing for social security or food stamps, or different resources, to have people come in who can help them. So, they do have a lot of resources for financial and food assistance. It's very affordable for most, and it is affordable for my mom.

I went to Park View at Fullerton. The size of the apartment was small because of my furniture, but the building and everything was nice. It mainly was the size that I was concerned about. I spoke with one of the managers, and he was very helpful. It's an independent living, so they didn't offer food. They had a laundry room and an exercise room. It was very clean and there was no clutter. It's easy access to the grocery stores and stuff like that and they offer shuttle rides to different places also.
