I visited the senior apartments of Greens at Irvington Mews II in Baltimore. The thing I dislike is the application process. I think they had new people trying to do the application process, and it was a mess. It was just a nightmare. It's three months of going back and forth with those people. The thing I liked best about it was that they had a washer and dryer in each apartment. They didn't have walk-in showers, though. They had regular tubs. Overall, I like the kitchen setup and the storage situation. They have an exercise space and a rooftop area, too. Instead of a porch area downstairs, theirs is up on the roof of the building, and I like that. It's a spanking brand-new facility. It's shiny and clean, although they could have used walk-in showers in some of their units for disabled people trying to apply. The staff was very new and didn't know what they were doing because no application process should take that long. They had the wrong Social Security number for me. They kept asking for information to be submitted that was already submitted, and just craziness like that. The community is brand new, so it looks good, but how they are run is another thing, and based on the people taking the application, the management seems like they're very new. I'm being run around, requesting duplicate information on stuff, when they got it right there in front of them. Then my application got denied because they submitted the wrong Social Security number.
