I live in Perryman Station. It's a senior apartment. You have to be 62 and over. It's supposed to be independent, but it looks like some people need assistance. There are residents that get people to come in and help them. So far, it's OK. It is three stories, and I'm on the second floor. I would rather be in a different location, but I just took what they had because they only had two openings. My room is small. It's a one-bedroom. There were no two-bedrooms available. They have a community room, a lounge area, a cybercafe, and a library. There is no dining inside the apartment. It's just a living room. There are amenities outside. They have a theater, and you can have a room and have your family or a company come over. There's a laundry room and a crafts room. Upkeep is good. They only have one staff person in the office. They respond. If you have any issues with something like maintenance, they take care of it. I don't go to the activities, but they have a lot of activities for the seniors. They put flyers on your door whenever they're going to have something. They have a luncheon, a birthday month, and a Thanksgiving meal. They have a farmer's market that comes out once in a few months. They take trips for the seniors as well, and then they have a movie night and a game room. Value for money is good because I'm just in a one-bedroom. This is about the lowest as far as the amount that they charge. I was told that maybe next year prices would change, but since I moved in, the amount is fine. I'm OK with the amount of the rent.
