"My grandmother has lived here for about a year. The facility looks nice and welcoming, with a lobby that makes you feel like you are in a hotel. The staff I have met seem friendly. The view out of her window is a nice yard and wooded area, which is nice. They have many activities for residents to do. However, I do not like that my grandmother is in a room near someone who screams constantly, night and day. She says that it makes it hard for her to hear her own thoughts. I feel like the staff should make arrangements for that person to be in another area of the building so the rest of the residents are not disturbed. Other than that one issue, I feel like it is a nice place. "

"My brother was at Morganfield Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. It's an older building, but it's a very nice place. He got physical therapy there. He was taken care of and he got strong enough where he could come home. They've got very good people there. He was in a room with another bed, and part of the time he was by himself. There was a shared bathroom with the people on the other side. The room was quite plain, but it was sufficient. He had a TV. It was an older nursing home, so there needed to be some updates. The people there were so nice and kind. They had bingo, and they had someone came in for bible study. For the Kentucky Derby, they had horse races with pool noodles. They had a lot of activities. They were very helpful to us. They had you sign in every time you came, but they soon knew who I was, and my sister. We were very pleased. We never encountered anyone who wasn't helpful. He a couple of days had someone that he wasn't real pleased with, but all he had to do was talk to the administrator or the head of nursing, and it changed. We were very pleased with the staff. We were very pleased with the administrator and the assistant administrator. When we needed to talk, all we had to do was let them know, and we could talk with them. I wasn't there for meals, but most things he enjoyed. He didn't lose any weight, and I think that was a good thing."

"The staff at Riverside always seem to truly care about the residents in their care. They offer much one in one time and preform care specific to the residents’ personal needs. They are friendly and professional with the visitors as well. The facility is also clean and fresh smelling. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone in need."

"Colonial Senior Living is very nice and new. It has been open for two years now. The staff members are most accommodating and very kind. The food is magnificent. It is home-cooking; it is excellent. I have a 2-bedroom where I have one big bathroom and a patio. Our breakfast is served from 7 to 9 a.m., lunch is served from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. and evening dinner is 5 to 7 p.m. We have exercises, Bible studies, bingo, and cooking activity. A girl comes around in a van and she brings us books from the library. She comes every week. She finds out what you like and provides books of your selection. Once a month we go out and have dinner some place, and they provide transportation for us."

"This assisted living facility is of good quality. The grounds are nice with a walking path that my grandfather uses frequently. His room, although not too spacious is big enough to hold his queen sized bed and has a small living area which holds his lift chair a loveseat, and a TV. Across from this area is a kitchenette which has a small sink, cabinet space, and a medium sized refrigerator. The room is always clean and free of dust or soap scum in the bathroom. Staff is friendly and not too intrusive. His laundry is done well and to his liking. The food is very good by his opinion and he eats almost all meals served. Overall my grandfather is very happy living at Colonial Assisted Living and I am happy knowing that he is safe and is getting his medications on time. He can have his independence with support. "

"My grand father was a resident in this facility. Overall, it was a nice place for him to live. They had recently remodeled and redecorated the facility and gave it a more home-like setting. The food was okay for a nursing facility. It was very clean looking and they always had people in there re-doing the floors. The nursing staff was very knowledgeable in regards to their work. If a nurse was unfamiliar with something or couldn't answer your questions for the most part they would put their pride behind them and ask another nurse for assistance in helping with the task or question. The DON was always there and always had her door open for families etc. to bring and questions or concerns. She was very professional and handled all situations in a timely manner. One thing they did seem to always fall short on was the activities department. For the most part all the residents seemed to just sit around. Many of the activities were un-involved. They did not seem to be planned out nor did there seem to be much participation. They do need to assess this issue and maybe visit another facility and maybe get some ideas on how to improve in the activities department. However, I would recommend this facility to other as a place to help with their relatives needs. "

"Redbanks Nursing Home is a great place for your loved one to reside. My husband's grandma is a resident there and the first time we visited we were very happy with the conditions in which she was living. They have an excellent and friendly staff and the facility is of top quality. The residents are provided with many day to day activities to keep them active. They have a movie theatre,bingo hall,dance room and much more. They have trained therapy staff and nurses dedicated to providing quality care and making sure the place feels like home. The have private rooms as well as semi private rooms available. The food is very healthy and of good quality. The facility was clean and neat and there was always someone nearby to answer any questions we may have had. I would reccomend this place to others looking for a perfect place for their loved ones. "My mother-in-law is staying in Henderson Nursing and Rehabilitation for long-term care. They do have rehab there, and occupational, and speech therapy. Most of the staff is outgoing and helpful. It looks like they have a lot of group activities going on when I visit. There's plenty of room to walk around her bed, and she's got her TV."

"My mom stayed at The Homeplace of Henderson. I would highly recommend them. I was very, very pleased. It's an excellent place. The facility was exceptional, very clean, and well-run. They had exceptional management. The food was very good. My mom was quite happy with the place. The activities seemed to be pretty good."

"I visited this facility with my Mamaw when she was looking to move into a facility. It was a hard decision for my Mamaw to give up her own lifestyle and move to a facility. But she was getting older and fell a lot. In fact she had done broke her hip once already. Upon entering New Haven we were greeted by staff and residents alike. They were very friendly and helpful. The staff quickly answered any questions that we had. They explained that residents still had their individual freedoms, but staff was the for immediate assistance if it was needed. The facility was nice and clean. It was nicely decorated to with nice looking furnishings. We was given time alone to talk with the residents. We ate lunch with them and had discussions about the place. The lunch was good. They cook 3 meals a day for the residents, of course residents are free to cook in their rooms if they like. Which is a big plus cause my Mamaw likes to cook. Over all I was impressed with the facility and Mamaw really liked it also. The only thing we didn't like was this place was a distance from home. "
