"I am really satisfied. Everybody there is friendly. My mom is satisfied. She likes it there. I like that there is staff there at all time just in case she has problems or she falls or something. They have a little life alert that they have in their apartment for their safety."

"I visited the independent living community of Seagrass Village of Daphne, and I have put a deposit down. I was looking for a 1-bedroom apartment, and their apartments are large and nice. I don't know how the food's going to be, but I will have a full kitchen, and I like that. I also like the washer and dryer. It's a smaller place than the other community I visited, but I think I could be happy there. The dining area is fine. It wasn't huge, which was nice. It had everything I needed, basically. I also used a couple of doctors in Fairhope, and they're close. The person who gave the tour was great. She showed me around and introduced me to people. She was very welcoming and explained a lot of things to me. She came out to meet me and was very helpful. She was also very kind."

"My father moved in. He's in a secure place, and he's not going to wander. They offer outings once a week, they get together, they do stuff, the activities director reads a book, or part of a book, and she tries to get them to converse. They offer three meals a day, and snacks in between. Some of the staff members talk amongst themselves and not to the residents, but they're nice and courteous."

"Brookside Senior Living Community was very nice. The person during the tour was excellent, very friendly, and very knowledgeable. The dining area looked very nice. From what I've heard from the other guests, the food was good. I saw some of the results of the crafts that they've done. They have a beauty shop and a little library. The apartment looked very nice and very modern. It's all one-story and it's very small. There are only 16 people in the assisted living, so it's a little homier."

"The staff at Gordon Oaks Senior Living Community was very friendly. It's a large facility, but the halls were rather dim as compared to the other facilities I've been in that were well lit. The Christmas decorations were very nice, but they could've used a little bit more lighting."

"My mother-in-law is in Westminster. It seems to be quite nice, it's fairly old, but it's very well-appointed, and the staff seems really attentive. So far, she likes the food, so we have no complaints. She likes some of the board games, they have Bridge, and they have movies. The attentiveness of everyone has been very encouraging."

"I toured The Reserve at Fairhope. The facility was beautiful. It's brand new and very nice. The memory care facility residents don't have access to outside. They have one small courtyard thing, but the residents aren't allowed to go out there by themselves. Otherwise, the facility was nice. The rooms were big, the staff seemed great and attentive. The food was good too. They have different options."

"My mom is in Homestead Village for 3 or 4 months now. It is excellent. We are very satisfied. The property is gorgeous. She has a one-bedroom apartment, which is perfect. She loves it. She is very happy. She has made a lot of friends. They have a lot of things going on. It has been a very good experience, so far. I have not seen anything I am not happy with. I will definitely advocate for it. As a matter of fact, my sister and I were just talking to someone who is recently looking for a place for their parents, and we highly commended it. It is very reasonable also because it is not for profit. It is a very lovely community. It is very well maintained. People there are very happy, very friendly, and very outgoing. It seems to be a good community, and we are very pleased. "
