We didn't care for Everleigh Vernon Hills very much because, although it was senior living, basically it was an apartment building. They offered no amenities. There was no dining room, and there were no meals. All the other ones we saw offered at least two meals a day. They did have cottages also available, but everything is independent. There was no continuum of care. It was clean. The rooms were nice and had lots of storage. I was not impressed with the staff during the tour. He was just like a sales guy, but he was very nice, very honest, and above board. There was no staff to interact with other than the salesperson. He was very congenial, very honest, and very upfront. It was just completely not what we were looking for.
