Northpoint Terrace was high rated. We only met the main person during the tour. The apartments are huge, they're very big and very bright. It's kind of like the Taj Mahal, it's very, very nice and the price wasn't too bad. They were all pretty equivalent as far as pricing to the other place I toured. Just looking at the menus and talking to a couple of people, the food is wonderful. The cook there is supposed to be top-notch, and she even takes people who want to bake like for the holidays, she'll help them do that. If the residents don't have a stove or refrigerator in their apartment, they have a kitchen set up for people that want to do some extra cooking and will help them with that. It's a smaller facility, there are about 25 apartments so it's more quaint.

I'm waiting to get into NorthPointe Terrace assisted living. It's connected with Beloit Hospital. I stayed in their rehab for a couple of days when I broke a bone several years ago. It's a nice place. I was very happy with what I saw and learned from visiting three weeks ago. I looked at the place and talked with the administrators. The food was good, and the employees were very nice, helpful, and thoughtful. It's a lovely place. If you have to be in someplace like that, it's a very pleasant place to be. I didn't find any negative about the place, the care or of the staff. They have professional chefs there, and they could fulfill your requests if you don't like the food. They've got nice furnishing, a lovely atmosphere and a lot of activities to keep the people happy and busy. They will do laundry, cleaning, meals, recreational things, and educational things.

We liked the look of Northpoint Terrace assisted living facility. While searching for a place for our aunt to live in the area, we decided to stop in. Despite not having an appointment, they very graciously gave us a tour. The facility can accommodate all levels of ambulation. We could see that there was plenty of space to have cookouts, parties and picnics in the yard. The grounds outside also offered easy access for residents, where they can enjoy walking around freely and safely. The interior foyer looked fresh and bright with a nice decor and comfortable furniture throughout. All of the indoor rooms had plenty of fresh air and light. Rooms were beautifully decorated and furnished. The colors throughout were soothing and comfortable. The private apartments were some of the more spacious we've seen. the kitchens were large enough to comfortably fit a table and chairs. They all had plenty of space to have good sized furnishings. All of them also had a great deal of natural light and fresh air with very comfortable furniture. The seniors can easily socialize, read, watch TV and films and participate in many stimulating activities. Communal activity rooms were spacious, with comfortable furniture. Some of the other activities included sight seeing, group studies, musical events, shopping outings, fine and casual dining at local eateries, guest speakers, birthday celebrations, exercise programs, group games and parties. The dining area was nice and spacious. The food looked and smelled delicious. The menus were healthy with many food options for all diets. Healthy snacks are offered all day and into the evening, as well as whenever residents request them. The residents looked content and well cared for in this homey living environment.
