My mom is a resident of Mount Prospect Senior Living. It's clean. It was newer. It was only a few years old, so everything was nicely updated. The best thing I liked about it was it's small and not too overwhelming for my mother. They have three meals a day. Most of their regular staff is very good, but sometimes they get agency people and there's not a lot of consistency then. The food was good. They have activities going on all the time and the girl that is running it is excellent. They have music that comes in. They have exercise classes. They have art classes. They play games. She goes over into memory care and does memory-enriching kinds of activities and they have movies, too. For the value, I think it's comparable to a lot of the other places that I went to. I think it's way too much, but that's what they're charging.

Mount Prospect Senior Living was clean and the people there were a lot active. The rooms looked pretty good. They had a nice setup for the dining room. It didn't have a full wall. It only had a half wall so residents could see you and you could see the residents. The main desk was right as you walked in, so that was convenient, and we didn't have to look for it. The staff was very informative and very professional. She followed up with me, which was nice. She was very bubbly and very happy. We were informed of the activities, how they presented the meals, that they had alternative meals, and we were shown a room. They had a barbershop and a library too.

exceeded all our expectations. finally a place where we are proud for our mom to live. great food, great activities and great staff to assist mom with all her needs. we couldnt be happier.

Mount Prospect Senior Living was very open and very clean. They had a nice patio out back. It seemed like they had pretty good activities. They had a fireplace. They had a little bar where they have a happy hour. It's a pretty new facility, so it's clean. Their costs were a little expensive. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and seemed to know a lot about the elderly care facilities. The facility looked pretty good.

their fourth chef has just quit. I can tell you Fridays dinner was 1/2 a quesadilla with a dollop of guacamole. Lots of pasta and sandwiches. NO fresh fruit or juice in Memory Care. your choice is water or coffee. The food in Memory Care is disgusting. images on FB page of actual so called food. Meals are not balanced according to guidelines. No nutritionist on staff. Memory Care rooms don’t have fans. Rooms not handicapped accessible for wheelchair. There are mo push button entry. Staff is great. They are wonderful with memory care.Don’t let their sales rep woo you. We pay $10,200.00. Memory care does not get the same treatment as assisted living. Lack in holiday decor unless purchased by families. Staff has tried to supplement food with their money. Memory Care living down in numbers. Many left.

We chose Mount Prospect Senior Living because of the location and because they were so accommodating. They were not supposed to open until May, but they opened early and it just worked out for my husband. The move-in has been very good. He is memory care. They are very accommodating and helpful. It is new, well-furnished, very open, light, and airy. It is also very comfortable with lots of open seating. They have very nice courtyards. The food is very good with good variety too.
