West Pullman School Senior Community is located in southern Chicago, just minutes from the shores of Lake Michigan. From Millenium Park to Willis Tower and Navy Pier, Chicago has lots of options for entertainment, cultural enjoyment and outdoor exploration. The food and dining scene is constantly expanding, and green spaces abound as neighborhood parks provide gentle walking paths and fun places to host picnics. The West Pullman School Senior Community is a building redesign by Celedon Holdings, UrbanWorks and A Safe Haven Foundation that has repurposed a former elementary school into 60 units of affordable senior housing. Common spaces incorporate elements of the original elementary school as a nod to the history of the building. Spacious outdoor areas and one or two-bedroom apartment homes are available. Large windows and plenty of natural light help create spaces that are both welcoming and functional.
