"River's Edge is going to be where I'm going to go. The place is very upscale. It has a nice entryway and dining facility. The staff is awesome. The lady that I dealt with was very knowledgeable of my needs. I toured the whole facility, and it has all the amenities that I am looking for. They have staff there if you need extra services. The leasing manager there was so good and awesome. She deserves a five star. They have a place where you can do physical therapy. They have haircare on-site. They have washers and dryers. They have a place where you can go to church services. They have a very nice dining facility with upscale menus, and the ground is superb."

"From the initial contact over the phone I felt welcome at Savannah Square. I toured the Health Center for my father in law and was very impressed with the staff. I observed the interaction with residents, cleanliness, and there weren't any bad smells. Staff answered my questions, and My father in law needs short term rehab and I have heard great things about this place and the therapists. "

"The least I liked about Sunabella Senior Living is they have two separate buildings, one for memory care, and one for assisted living, and they do a little bit more in one building, so if the residents don't go to the other building they might miss something, Overall, I think it's a very beautiful location in Savannah. The facility was clean. The room sizes were nice. The staff was wonderful, showing me the different rooms and the sizes, and how they could walk outside in a garden. It was very spacious. The residents have nice places to sit and places to walk inside and outside. I've met a couple of the staff members, as well as the management who showed me around. They were very nice and very informative. They had a studio bedroom and one bedroom. The rooms were great and had a very nice layout."

"I toured Canterfield of Bluffton. I like the decor, the hominess of the facility, and their activities. However, I did not have any interaction with the nursing staff. It's very clean and very light."

"I visited this facility and noticed how beautiful the outdoor setting was. There was ample parking for staff and visitors. When I walked into the facility I noticed how friendly the staff were. I was given a tour and noticed the facility offers private and semi private rooms. Each room has ample space with their own bath. There is a large library, many activities offered and Savannah Cottage offers transportation to any resident that would like to be driven shopping, to their doctor's appointments, etc. There is a large dinning room and the facility offers 3 meals. There are walkways outside for residents and visitors to stroll around and enjoy the fresh air and Savannah Cottage is pet friendly. "

"Vineyard Bluffton is at the top of my list right now. It's a 5 all the way around. We met some of the residents there. The food appeared to be excellent, well prepared, and I would certainly eat there if I had to any time. We viewed several apartments, and they're excellent. They're exactly what we would be looking for to settle on. They had everything from pickleball to arts and crafts and physical therapy. I can't even name them all. They're well rounded and something that seniors would appreciate. We went to three courtyards. They're very open. There's a lot of greenery with little lagoons and little pools. It was just very impressive."

"My cousin lives in Harmony at Savannah. The apartments are very well-appointed and very spacious. There are elevators that are close by to accommodate those with mobility problems (my cousin has a mobility problem, she's on a walker). The place is very attractive. The staff that I had met were very nice and accommodating. One thing I don't like about the place is that their parking lot is not friendly to the residents. People with cars have to park way out at the far end, whereas donors who pay and help support Harmony at Savannah get to park way right up front and they're generally not people with mobility problems. So I think that's a fault. They have two handicapped spots and they're taken up by people that are visiting, not people that live there. Outside of that, the facility is well-run and has services available. It is excellent. The activities look like they're available on a regular basis and part of it requires that you make some friends and have people to do things within the facility. They also have movies, speakers, games, and lots of rooms dedicated to different board games and meetings. I've looked at other places and I think that it's a fair price she's paying there."

"I toured The Oaks at Savannah, and it was very nice. It was clean. They had medium rooms and larger rooms. The staff who gave me the tour was very nice. When I entered the lobby, they had beautiful chairs and people just sitting out there, doing puzzles or on their phones. I only saw one room, but it was small. They were located near restaurants, groceries, and Skidaway Island."

"I toured, and I was rather embarrassed because they had no idea that I had a tour scheduled. It was a little awkward, but they managed to fit me in. The facility was excellent. It was large, it was spacious, and it had all types of areas where the residents could gather to visit one on one or a couple of people at a time. They had a big rotunda or a circular area that had all the things they needed, like a barber shop, an ice-cream shop, a coffee shop, and a TV room, so they didn't have to go anywhere else. That was really nice. The person who gave us the tour was lovely and a very nice young woman too."

"My dad is currently in Summer Breeze Senior Living, and I would give them a very high recommendation. The staff is excellent. The facility is very clean. Their activities are phenomenal, and the food is good. It's just a wonderful place. I'm very happy with it. Several times a week, they have live music. They do bingo. This week, they're doing a casino day where they play different card games. They take field trips on the bus as they went to Tybee and Saint Simons. They have multiple things going on several times a week. The rooms have very efficient space. There's ample room. They all have a nice amount of natural light."

"I like where Magnolia Manor on the Coast is located. I like the people that we met there too. The place seemed clean. They have a swimming pool and they take residents on trips. The person who assisted me was absolutely excellent. She showed me the 1-bedroom and the 2-bedroom. The rooms were adequate in size, clean, and there was enough room for things."

"The Thrive at Skidaway was nice. I got to do the tour of the community and they gave me their brochure. They had independent living, assisted living and memory care and I did a quick tour of all of them. It's very nice because it's new too. I don't have any complaints about it."

"The place that I enjoyed was Tide Pointe. I had lunch there with a friend, and their food was excellent. A friend of mine was in one of the area there, and she is very happy. The environment was very good, and it’s a beautiful place From some of the rooms, you can see water views, and if I were to move one of the places, that would be my first choice. "

"The staff at Village Cove is very caring and kind to all their residents. I feel the residents are in very good hands. The staff is responsive to requests that I have made. I am impressed with the nursing staff - Seconda especially - she truly shows she cares about each resident. Overall I couldn't have found a better place for my sister to be."
