My mom is in a facility called River Bend Nursing Center. She fell and so she is in there for the time being. I like it. They check on my mom all the time. The place is well maintained. The room is clean. The door is always open. And when they call, the staff always contacts me right back. There's always a nurse on hand giving me an update on my mom. It's wonderful. They're very friendly. They have a calendar of activities. The first week when I was there, they sang to my mom. So if someone can't get into the rec room for activities or what-have-you, they kind of come to you. The last time I was there, I went into the room, and they had some kind of crafts thing going on. And they wheeled them in there if they couldn't make it on their own. They also have a nice social worker who explains everything to you.

My grandmother is at Riverbend Nursing Center. It is a good place for her to be healing. The staff is nice and attentive to her, and they are really good. We have good communication. I try to get ahold of my grandmother, and we talk every other day on the phone. She is clean, comfortable, and they really take good care of her.
