I've been living in FountainGlen. I'm very happy. It's very well run, and it's very nice. The staff is very nice, always there for whatever you need, and they help you out with whatever you need. They're very good. All the activities are closed down. They used to have breakfasts every so often and the weight room, but they're not open right now. I'm hoping that soon it will all open up and there will be more interaction with the people and meeting people more, but so far it's been really great anyway. We have little chairs out there and umbrellas, so people will come out and sit out there and talk. They're great because most of the people here have little dogs, so they walk their dogs outside. You get to see a lot of the people walking around. You can still integrate a little bit.

My mother-in-law moved into this facility when my father-in-law died about five years ago. It is nicely maintained and offers many options for the residents. One of the things she really enjoys is the movie theater that shows movies on Fridays. It has big, comfortable movie seats and shows recent Hollywood movies. The facility provides popcorn for a full movie theater experience. The facility also offers many social activities for residents, including bingo, craft and assorted classes periodically (I think they had knitting at one time). They also offer get togethers for things like the Super Bowl in a main area with a big-screen TV. Transportation is available for going to other locations around town like the mall. The grounds are well maintained. My mother-in-law has a one bedroom unit that has a small patio. The hallways are a bit long and dark, but that's about the only negative thing I have to say about this place. We think it's a wonderful facility for her and she seems quite happy there.
