Everything about Mother Gertrude Home was great during our visit on the community. It was clean, and the rooms were a nice size. The staff was readily available. They were able to show us their calendar of activities, and it was full of activities.

Mother Gertrude Balcazar Home promotes the dignity and self-worth of all their residents, and strive to give them excellent quality of life.They encourage activities, socialization.Mother Gertrude is not just a Care giving facility, it is a home. My mom has been at Mother Gertrude for 1/2 a year, after losing my dad to cancer and being married close to 60 years, life had became very difficult for her without my dad. Finding this Home has been a blessing.The Franciscan Sisters take their vocation seriously.They are caring and loving to all residents,Catholic or non-Catholic.My mom loves her daily Mass, activities, and enjoys her meals.From time to time different groups from the San Fernando Community provides entertainment and come to socialize with the elderly. My mom is truly enjoying her new home. All her sons & daughters can breath easier knowing she is well taken care of. I highly recommend Mother Gertrude Belcazar Assistant Living Home.
