Grandview Retirement Center

I visited Grandview Retirement Center. I like the independent living, and everything was in-house. What I didn't like was that they didn't have any parking. They had a dining room with TVs and stuff, so you can play games. The staff was nice, very thorough, and friendly. It was a nice, big facility, and it was clean. The lighting in the dining room was good. There was plenty of space.

I will move into Grandview Retirement Center. What I liked about it was that it looked very friendly, the people there were nice, and it was clean and had no smell. They provide three meals a day, and the person who took me around was very nice and friendly.

We toured Grandview Retirement Center. The room size is nice. It was a very clean facility. The staffing was nice, and the people there seemed happy. They told us that if my relative wanted a small refrigerator and a microwave in his room, he would have to provide that, but they do provide the dresser, nightstand, and the bed. The meals are included daily, and there are three meals a day and snacks. They have activities and a game room. It was a nice facility. The person who showed us around was very professional and caring. She was a very nice person, and she gave us a full tour. They had an outdoor and indoor patio.

We toured Grandview Retirement Center. The only best thing about it is that it's a full service. They offer meals and have a medical staff on the premises, a laundry, and they assist with that and everything. That part was good. The part we didn't like about it was that the location was not in the best part of L.A. It's more of a place where they put homeless people, and there are two people in a room. You have no option after that. It has to be a two-person room. You don't know who you're rooming with. So, that wasn't satisfactory for my brother. It may be good for someone else who's more desperate in search of something, but it's not a place for my brother. It was clean, but it had an odor. I don't know if that's from everything they used to clean. There's a lot of insecticide in the air or something in there that I don't know. I'm not talking about the people. I don't know what they have going on in there. It wasn't good. I couldn't stay there a whole day because of the smell alone, and it was very noisy. The people are very loud, and the neighborhood is not the best. I wouldn't even want to walk out there at any time, because it's across the street from MacArthur Park. There are a lot of homeless people or whatever that are hanging out there.
