I have my wife at Sunrise of Carmichael. They treat the residents pretty good there, but I don't think the food is that great. The staff is pretty good. The layout is fine. It's cheerful. They've just done some remodeling. Her room was light and airy and large. Cleanliness is pretty good. The dining area is nice and brand new, which they just remodeled, and it's restaurant type. The food and activities are just fair. They sit them basically in front of a TV, talk to them, or play a little catch ball with them. I've had some problems with them in keeping the laundry straight.

Everything about Sunrise of Carmichael was good. I liked that they go engage with the residents pretty much all day and that they have plenty of activities for them, as well as meals and medical assistance. So all around, it's pretty good. It seemed like it would be a good fit for my brother-in-law. They had nice accommodations. Although the view wasn't very scenic from the rooms, it's clean. You have to expect that you get what you get. The person that gave the tour was very informative and very helpful.

Sunrise of Carmichael was a good location. It looked very clean and new. They had an experienced staff because they have registered nurses, so they can get more care than maybe some of the other facilities. The care that my mother would need would have to be upstairs. They do have private rooms that were very nice-sized. The only limit would be that it was upstairs. They couldn't go outside, do any walking, and get any exercise in the area. But it seemed to be a very competent, well-planned facility. I saw the private room, and it was surprisingly roomy. I could see where my mother could put some of her things in there and do a little bit like home. They have nice bath and shower accommodations. The staff had the services to prompt her for any needs that she would have throughout the day, so that was good. The dining area was open. It was laid out to look a little bit like your home or kitchen in your house. It did not look like a commercial kitchen. It was just open seating, and they received the amount of care that they needed in terms of eating. The facility looked well-maintained. It did not look brand new. But I didn't see anything that would look out of place. They were on top of it. I met the facility manager, and he was very nice. They were very friendly.

Sunrise of Carmichael was warm and inviting. I liked that it looked like a home. They have a very large kitchen that the residents can access themselves. They have no stove, but they have counter space, a refrigerator, and a microwave. The studio apartments were small. The studio apartments were small. The staff members were friendly. There was an outdoor area. They had an area where they could watch TV, an area where they could do activities, and an area where they could eat. One of the guests told me he had been there for 13 years. This is his family and his home. He likes it.

Sunrise of Carmichael was fine. Everything about the model rooms that they showed us was great. They all were private studios and private apartments. The only concern that I had (and I fully understand that it's just because of the level of care) is that it's out of the budget from what the family had decided. The staff members were great, and the facility had a perfect apartment size for her. I thought that everything was very calm and soothing. The person who toured us actually gave a lot of good insight on things to look for and so forth. She gave me a great tour, and she was a good listener. I saw their activity room, their eating area, and they explained to me the amenities that they have. We were talking a lot about how things have changed since COVID. She was explaining that now they're coming together more. I saw their community center, which to me looks like a little break area. It was actually nice. They made cookies for them. It was nice that you just grab any snacks before watching games.

I visited Sunrise of Carmichael. It was very nice and lovely, and the people were very nice and friendly. I walked through the dining room and it was nice and clean, too, and the food looked good. The person who gave me the tour was great. It's just that people weren't that engaged, and I think that's just simply the level of care. Although my mother has dementia and her memory is not great, I felt like it would set her back instead of keeping her moving forward.

I went to Sunrise of Carmichael. I was in the lobby and I met with two of the staff members. The visit was very good. Because of COVID they were able to show me a room, and then they had a video of another room. As of yet, they weren't allowed to let me in any of the rest of the facility, but from the lobby I could see some of the common areas. It was my first and only one really so far, but they were very friendly and very understanding. The staff that I saw walking people from place to place all seemed very competent and caring. The staff were all wonderful. The staff that I met with were very knowledgeable. They took pertinent information and they gave me information that I was not aware of and things that I needed to do before placing my mom. It was really helpful. The room was very nice and very clean. It had all the necessary items that a senior would need.

We had a super nice tour of Sunrise of Carmichael. The lady who assisted us was super nice. The place was very clean, it had a nice atmosphere, and it was something that I would have considered for my mom if she was at that level. The living quarters looked nice. The activities seemed nice. However, it was way too expensive for my mom.

I remember thinking Sunrise at Carmichael was very appropriate for people with dementia. They had a lot of activities which was something I was looking for. There was nothing about it that was like a big red flag for me. The main problem is that it is too far. The security seemed like it was good. My mom does try to escape, so that was something I paid close attention to. I remember thinking this was good, and they definitely know what they were doing.

I am impressed with Sunrise of Carmichael and its staff. One of my father's best friends lives there. We are very familiar with the facility, and we like it. It is one of the most expensive ones, but their quality is excellent.

We're pretty happy with Sunrise at Carmichael. They did very well for my dad there. The only reason I'm moving him is so he can be closer. One thing my dad said was really good was the food. Everyone was really friendly and they took care of my dad.
