"I toured Cedarhurst of Owensboro. I was impressed with the overall visual pleasantness of the place. It's fairly new and isn't rundown at all, but it's well-kept and well-built. The units are very, very sharp. The staff is very professional and knowledgeable. It was a good feeling, pleasant people. I looked over the menu and their procedure and policies, and I was pleased with that."

"My mom was at Oak Ridge Senior Living Community for a while. It was excellent. My mom got so bad, she couldn't stay there. They have great service. Their director is extremely friendly and helpful. Their staff is good. The food and the activities were good. Everything was top-notch there. They had activities like singing. They got them together and did all kinds of things for different holidays. They had music and special food treats. It was a nice place. The facility is very clean."

"Colonial Senior Living is very nice and new. It has been open for two years now. The staff members are most accommodating and very kind. The food is magnificent. It is home-cooking; it is excellent. I have a 2-bedroom where I have one big bathroom and a patio. Our breakfast is served from 7 to 9 a.m., lunch is served from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. and evening dinner is 5 to 7 p.m. We have exercises, Bible studies, bingo, and cooking activity. A girl comes around in a van and she brings us books from the library. She comes every week. She finds out what you like and provides books of your selection. Once a month we go out and have dinner some place, and they provide transportation for us."

"Colonial Assisted Living is in my hometown, that's number one and he knows people out there, that's number two. I think the level of care is really good so that's what we like. We'd eaten there and the food is great. The facility is very well maintained. They had a lot of options and the staff is very good. We are all satisfied. "

"My mom was in one of the wings in Redbanks, and she loved it. I didn't have any issues with any of the staff there and my mom really enjoyed all of the staff. She became friends with the nurses and liked the food. I haven't had any complaints and she didn’t have any complaints. I think the staff is friendly and definitely something worth checking out. My mom would not be upset if she had to go back there. They have a lot of activities going on, and there's always someone she could talk to. She liked all of her therapists, and all the nurses and staff are very nice. "

"Palmer Place is nice, but the room is small. The room is about the size of two large walk-in closets. I don't think I could co-exist there; it is too small. The dining area is huge. I'm a retired teacher, and we have had lots of meetings there where they catered our lunches. They always fix good food. The staff members are wonderful, too. I know a lot of people there because it is about nine miles from our house in Kentucky. They even let you have a car there to go when you want to go, which is nice. The people and the food are nice but not the size of the room."
