We will be moving into Mera Chandler. We love it. It's independent living. That's why we went over there. It's way cheaper and it's brand new. It's a two-bedroom with a living room, full kitchen, and two-bath. One bathroom has got a bathtub and the other one's got a shower. It's just like a house. You get a full refrigerator with an icemaker, a washer and dryer, a shower, and you can hook up cable. We pay for our own cable, our own electricity, and our own water. After that, they pay for everything. The living atmosphere is perfect. There's a Burger King, a Jack in the Box, and a Wendy's a mile from there. There's a Safeway about two miles from there. Home Depot is about a mile from there. Everything is right there, and the highway is right there, too. We buy our own food. I didn't see a common dining area, but they had a lot of common areas, like an area where you can go down and get coffee and there's a bunch of tables there. They have a full gym, a yoga room, a game room, and a bunch of other rooms where people get together. There's free coffee any time you want it. It looks like they had some kind of bingo thing going on. The place is immaculate and super clean. Everything is great. They even give you a wagon that you can put in your car when you go grocery shopping. You can put all the groceries in the wagon, and you can go up the elevator and bring your groceries. They're all very, very nice, very pleasant, and very easy to work with.

I toured Mera Chandler. It was a wonderful place. I just got the feeling that the guy that was trying to get us to apply was making most of his money on just application fees. Then at the end, he handed me a page about income requirements that we wouldn't have qualified for. We were shown a very nice, neat apartment, and told what was happening in the community. We got the walk-through. We got to see where the pools were and the barbecue areas. It was great. I think they had three different kinds of, like, little apartments. It was clean, it was neat and organized, they had directions to where you were going, it was good.
