My Grandmother was a resident of Estrella Back May and the Nursing staff took such wonderful care of her I would Highly recommend Estrella to all my family and friends that my need Rehab services. thank you so much for the wonderful care and the updates on her care when we would call to check on her.

My mother used Estrella Care and Rehabilitation Center once. I liked them. She was there for a week and everything was fine. They took good care of her. I had no problems. I'm planning on using them again next month. It was clean. She was clean, and she seemed happy when I picked her up. They did a good job. She was in a shared room. They have games, TV, and therapy. She said the food was good.

Be careful at this place . At first the impression is good. It’s run horribly . Management makes poor decisions . Anyone running nursing departments suck! My family member got very sick here. Needless to say he did not return back from hospital . The nurse made it clear the Doctor who runs facility hardly shows so there was nothing more she could do . He never was out of bed , food on his face

Estrella center is horrible. Half the nursing staff don't take care of their patients because they are too busy on you tube or having potlucks with the cnas. My father was on station 1 and was treated horribly. The nursing staff ignored him when he was having distress and i instead chose to continue talking to cnas about their personal life. One nirse named Cynthia was very loud and unprofessional. What a disgrace. The management never said anything about her behavior at the nursing station. There was a nurse there names Jennifer who was not my fathers nurse but helped him whenever he needed her even just to talk to him so he wasnt scared. Jennifer was very compassionate and professional but the staff treated her horribly. My father.is not there anymore and I will never send gim back there. The only nurse that cared and did her job was Jennifer.

I would keep searching.... it is 2015 under new management and this center is still under staffed, with insufficient aids to take care of the personal needs of the residents. This last year, the "NEW" management was more interested in putting wood lamanent on the floors and painting the walls than adding more staff. The residents that are unable to care for themselves suffer because there is not enough staff to give each person the personal care (brush teeth, change under garments when soiled, bath (1 time a week) etc. My heart breaks when I see some of the residents there...

Be cautious in having your family members stay at this facility. They are short staffed, and do not have enough nurses to support the number of patients and front desk staff. Also, they are not thorough in the care they are suppose to provide ie. bandage changes on wounds per the scheduled changes. The nurses do their best, but they need more assistance. New management is suppose to take over in Oct 2012, and that can be good or bad.
