Traylor Retirement Community has probably 8 or 10 apartments for independent-living. It's close by and affordable. If we wanted to, we could probably take a lease on that and move at our leisure. It's a big community, and it's a nice, clean operation. The meals there are in addition to the monthly rent. That's more attractive because we don't usually eat a big lunch and probably not much for breakfast either. What I like about it was it was 2-bedrooms and one bath, and it was a good-sized unit, 600 sq.ft.

TRC is a family business that has been providing quality care for the people of east Alabama since 1955. With a vast array of services, TRC is a Continuing Care Community that includes inpatient/outpatient physical therapy, senior apartments, long term care with an Alzheimer's Unit and both an assisted living and a SCALF (Specialty Care Assisted Living Facility that cares for people with Alzheimer's or dementia). TRC is the only Continuing Care Community in Randolph County and is dedicated to providing quality care for the community and surrounding areas.
