"They offered numerous amenities for Alzheimer's patients. All of the amenities were fair. Also, they did offer some solutions on helping me tell my mother that this is where you're going. You can put them in there for a day or two at a time like test residents -- which I thought was good -- so that was their biggest aspect as far as I'm concerned. Somerford Place of Redlands was well done and very well gated, so that residents can't get out or go hurt themselves. The rooms were nice, but they're really not going to be compatible for adults that have very large homes. However, the staff was great. They were really great. With the lady that took me around and all the people that I interacted with -- e.g., some staff people that were trying to care for some Alzheimer's patients -- I was very pleased with what I saw. "

"I looked into this center for my mother and thought that it was just absolutely terrible. The way they treated their patients was just so unbelievable, seriously, this is the last place I would consider for anyone to put an elderly person. "

"I visited the facitlity and was put on a waiting list for 5 months came back and did another tour and they said there was a opening then they never got back to us. They choose who they want and I guess didn't like my daughter because she didn't talk much! "

"The staff is awesome! They really love taking care of the elderly and they do a great job. They keep them safe, clean, well fed and stimulated. You feel welcome from moment you park your car out front of center. Everyone is there to help you and I love the attention they give their clients and me. It is the best adult day care center anybody can think of. They have great activities, Field Trips, and all sorts of fun games. They have clients with different medical needs. Some with limited mobility, dementia /Alzheimer’s, post stroke etc. Talk with the social worker Julie she really helped me with both of my parents getting into this program with no out of pocket for my parents or myself. "

"Casa Colina is a great rehabilitation and assisted living facility. The staff were professional, helpful and courteous to both its visitors and its clients. The Facilities there were clean and well kept. Patients were two to a room excluding those who required a certain level of treatment. The rooms were comfortable with a good view of the landscaping. The food was satisfactory and they even offered the patients sodas and treats. Televisions, board games, and regular outings were all provided to the patients. For those with physical disabilities or impairments were provided a gym and physical therapist to motivate and assist recovery. My experience overall was satisfactory. I cant think of any negative criticism for this facility, as it served its purpose in physical and mental rehabilitation. "

"My husband is in Knolls West Convalescent Hospital for rehab and the experience so far has been good. I like that the lobby portion is large and has reception; there's a lady at the desk. Since the COVID thing, she takes everybody's temperature, and you must wear a mask inside the door. The grounds are taken care of outside or externally. I was there yesterday and there was a gardener trimming the roses. The room is satisfactory. I'm always there every three days or so, it's always clean, and his little trash basket is always empty even though he uses it. The staff and services are just average. He's bedridden, and there have been times when he waited a long time to have his diaper changed. Other times they're just right there. It depends on their staffing. If they're full staff, they're right on time to take care of him. When they're not fully staffed, like on weekends, he may wait a bit longer to be changed. They had a sign up for special holidays where they'd have something going on, but he just hasn't gone to them. He also hasn't gone to the dining area, his food is brought on a tray. According to him, the food is not good at all. Whenever I come he always wants me to bring him a chicken sandwich or a Subway sandwich as a treat. So when I come, he doesn't eat his lunch from there. I've tasted his food and it tasted OK to me. Right now, Medicare is still paying for it, but come April I'd have to pay it. It's going to be over $1,500 on my part alone."
